Just after midnight, authorities descended on the Cerritos home of the man believed to be the filmmaker behind the anti-Muslim movie that has sparked protests and rioting in the Arab world.
Los Angeles County sheriff's deputies escorted a man believed to be Nakoula Basseley Nakoula to an awaiting car. The man declined to answer questions on his way out and wore a hat and a towel over his face. He kept his hands in the pocket of a winter coat.
Sheriff's officials could not be reached by The Times, but department spokesman Steve Whitmore told NBC4 that deputies assisting the federal probation department took Nakoula to the sheriff's substation in Cerritos for interviewing.
Authorities waited until most media had left for the day.
Earlier Friday, sheriff’s deputies had to escort attorneys through a scrum of news cameras into Nakoula’s home. This time, authorities only had to avoid a lone photographer for The Times and a few other lingering reporters.
Nakoula has told the Associated Press he was a logistics manager on the "Innocence of Muslims" movie, not the director. He told a Coptic bishop Thursday that he had no role in it, the clergyman told The Times.

It was a pitifully poor movie, that no one watched until these idiots started rioting.
The movie was ony an excuse.

Agree with you on that EBH. Like I mentioned above, a terrorist's aim is not too keen. The most recent example was where they put out a hit on Prince Harry Wales of England and instead killed two of our Marines. They don't care who they kill as long as they kill someone.

Very interesting and I think a frightening possibility.
Think of the terrorists who piloted the planes. They took a long time flight training up to the landing part then skipped it. They entered our country legally and established residences here.
The man in the article, supposedly has served time in our prisons - excellent training ground. The man also had a half dozen aliases. He was crafty at making money the old fashioned check-kiting way and as of earlier today, the man who was taken into police custody still denied being the actual script writer and director of the film.

Obama tears down leaders that are at least not hostile to United States and encourages those who hate the United States to take power in various Arab countries. Our embassies are attacked on 9/11. And the press and the President expect us to buy the story that a little tiny internet movie which nobody has seen has caused all this mess? Even those who don’t follow the world situation know that there’s something very smelly about this.”

Update from the Los Angeles Times - they added a one line update to their article which said that the man was not arrested, but instead was "taken in for further questioning."
That's significant in my opinion and combined with GVnana's link to Smoking Gun, adds more credence to the idea that he's headed into protective custody.

“Protective custody” is still custody. Before this is over, he, like those who burned obama’s “holy book” the quran will experience obama’s wrath. This is just one more reason I despise the bastards that inflicted obama on me so.
