A seemingly harmless ad campaign has landed the popular soft drink in hot water with Christian fundamentalists who don't believe we came from apes The image: Dr Pepper found itself in the midst of a theological debate this week, when it posted an ad called "Evolution of Flavor" on its Facebook page (see the offending graphic below). The ad, which depicts an ape completing its evolution into man upon discovering a can of Dr Pepper, has angered Christians who don't believe in the theory posited by Charles Darwin 150 years ago

I say we attack some embassies.
Let’s riot!
The fault clearly lies on those making the ad. Violent responsers are helpless pawns.
“I say we attack some embassies.”
What about the alphabet agencies and news organizations instead?

I’m very thankful they are not antagonizing the muzzes.
Turn their bottling facilities to GLASS!
Works for me
Raze the factory and hoist the Crusader flag.
(((Shrug)))
Oh good grief.
This is a joke right?
It is a flipping soda ad and you know what it’s funny.
This ad is not about the evolution of humans, it is about flavor.
Good grief some people really have to much time on their hands.
It’s soda - get over it.
Oh but they are. Ther muzzies believe the same basic genesis beginnings as Christians. Muslims believe that Allah created the universe, earth and everything that lives in it. According to the Quran, Allah made rain to pour on the ground and turn the soil to sprout forth plants and fruits. He then sent his angels to earth to collect different coloured soils from where he created man.
I’ll bet that when they see that ad, all the evolutionists will start drinking Dr. Pepper, and devolve back into apes.
“... has angered Christians ...”
I call BS. This is a marketing ploy by Dr Pepper.
I’m a Creationist Christian, and the Gieco apeman doesn’t bother me. It’s part of our cultural mythology.
Flavor makes me angry!
Works for me.
I doubt that slogan will show up in next season's Mad Men.
Not such a hard task, IMO and LOL!
Yeah, but I still wish he'd bash that f'ing lizard with a club...right before he drags Flo (Progressive Insurance) to his cave by her hair.
Besides, I have a crush on Jessica ("Is your car up a pole again?") of State Farm. Wholesome Dakota girl and all that.
Cheers!
