Let's hope the US Marines have loaded guns.
Can't post to breaking -- but this may end up a breaking story if the embassy is stormed.
What happened [to the British] in the Sudan about 130-150 years ago comes to mind...

It requires very little for Muslim youths to riot. No cause is necessary, simply a target and a time to muster.

That is the scary part. I would feel much more comfortable if George W Bush was still president even if the media would be blaming him 24 hours a day for the situation.
We may have 5 or 6 fewer embassies by tomorrow morning with this president, and possibly a war somewhere in the Middle East.
But then we elected this Muslim president.
In the biography of Obama, does it state that he was raised Muslim in Indonesia?

Haven’t read it but that iswhat I’ve read time and time again and Obama has made plenty of comments about his being Muslim. It begs the question - why did he attend a Christian church for 20 years and why wasnt his Muslim faith revealed only AFTER he became president. I think we know the answer...

Damn that sounds like liberal idiots as well...: )

Gunfire heard at US Embassy in Khartoum -- Jerusalem Post I think that means the Marines have loaded weapons.

Gunfire at the embassy is an important event.
The Jerusalem Post is much more reliable source than Washington Post or New York Times

The reason this is happening is because of appeasement.
Appeasement is the policy of Obama and Hillary.
If you give your lunch money to the school bully, it makes him bolder. Even if he says he beat you up because he didn't like the color of your shirt - the real reason is he can get away with it - and he knows it.
This horror lies at the feet of Obama and Hillary.

It appears we have had several diplomats murdered om Khartoum in the last 40 years.
We need to prepare all our Embassies for a 55 DAYS AT PEKING type attack as happened in 1900 China.
To: Ruy Dias de Bivar
I would agree.
There are probably military bases in the US going on alert.
If all US Military Bases in the US (and overseas) are not on alert at time, they should line up the Chief of Staff of the Pentagon against a wall and shoot him for putting US Military people in harm's way as well as not mobilizing some folks that are needed.
I just hope they have a plan to embed special forces with Marines at US Embassies...

I think his muslim buddies have decided that they’ve been betrayed by their best friend in the United States when Big Media reported that Hussein personally insisted that Jerusalem be added back into his campaign.
