Before Romney issued his statement today, an open mic capture the press coordinating questions to ask Romney, with one saying no matter who he calls on were covered on the one question. Ive transcribed it to the best of my ability but the audio is below for verification:
Ive labeled one as the CBS News reporter as I believe it is Nancy Cordes who works for CBS News. Ive I gotten that wrong I apologize and will correct.
UNIDENTIFIED REPORTER: pointing out that the Republicans *unintelligible* Obama .
CBS REPORTER: Thats the question.
UNIDENTIFIED REPORTER: *unintelligible*
CBS REPORTER: Yeah thats the question. I would just say do you regret your question.
UNIDENTIFIED REPORTER: Your question? Your statement?
CBS REPORTER: I mean your statement. Not even the tone, because then he can go off on
UNIDENTIFIED REPORTER: And then if he does, if we can just follow up and say but this morning your answer is continuing to sound *becomes unintelligble*
CBS REPORTER: You cant say that..
**Later**
CBS REPORTER: Im just trying to make sure that were just talking about, no matter who he calls on were covered on the one question.
UNIDENTIFIED REPORTER: Do you stand by your statement or regret your statement?

Here are the seven questions they asked:
1. Reporter brings up that Romney had a toughly worded statement last night, and asks, Do you regret the tone at all given what we know now?
2. Do you think, though, coming so soon after the events really had unfolded over night was appropriate, to be weighing in on this as this crisis was unfolding in real time? Follow-up: What did the White House do wrong then, Gov. Romney, if they put out a statement saying they disagreed with it?
3. The world is watching. Isnt this itself a mixed signal when you criticize the administration at a time that Americans are being killed? Shouldnt politics stop for this?
4. Some people have said that you jumped the gun a little bit in putting that statement out last night and that you should have waited until more details were available. Do you regret having that statement come out so early before we learned about all of the things that were happening?
5. If you had known last night that the ambassador had died, and obviously, Im gathering you did not know . . . if you had known that the ambassador had died, would you have issued such a strongly-issued statement?
6. Reporter comments that Romney is running on his economic know-how and private sector experience, and adds, but now that foreign policy and the situation in the Middle East has been thrust into the presidential campaign, can you talk about why specifically you think you are better qualified than President Obama to handle these issues?
7. How specifically, Governor Romney, would a President Romney have handled this situation differently than President Obama did? You spoke out before midnight, when all the facts werent known. How would you have handled this differently than the president did?
More like Volkischer Beobachter. But then, that was owned by Nazis, it didn't volunteer to support them free of charge.
In spite if the questions to Romney at the news conference, I came away with a different take. He was PRESIDENTIAL !!! He looked it, he spoke it, and when being ganged up on by the lib media, they didn’t lay a glove on him. I’m not his biggest fan, (I’m voting against Obama), but he impressed me. Obama later never dared to make a comment that wasn’t written down, answering questions, Romney was off the notes... He was GOOD!!!
Why would you undermine your real point with a sign like that? Or is it intended as a joke?
For the debates, the only logical setup would be for each candidate/participant to choose people to pose the questions. There’d be a good mix of questions. Some would be good/fair, and some would be terrible/fixed. This crap where every debate is being organized by the MSM is ridiculous. The GOP is full of so many idiots, they just slouch along and take the abuse. Dreadful.
They are desperate to make sure these attacks are not compared to the 1979 embassy attacks.
Both Ryan and Romney can handle the media.
One thing you cannot deny about Romney is that he is unflappable. Don’t think I have ever seen him angry. Maybe this crap will infuriate him.
“Romney was off the notes... He was GOOD!!!”
Yeah I gotta agree. I’m also not his biggest fan, but he did look very good answering questions off the cuff.
The names of every reporter in attendance should be published and they are all need to be fired immediately.
Signed, Every American Patriot.
Excellent idea.
There is no question that Mitt is prepared to be President unlike The Disaster.
Like you I am voting against The Disaster and have never been a fan of Romney for a lot of reasons but it cannot be doubted that he is very polished and looks the part. The Disaster looks like a pool boy in comparison even when wearing $1000 suit.
How is this F%$&ing LEGAL???????????
Why is this not a form of SEDITION??????? How???!!!!!
Especially when Romney doesn’t go after them over it.
That’s why I supported Cain and Newt early on. At least they would go after the media and call them out on it. How could the coverage get any worse? At least it might wake up a few folks.
Believe it or not the ignorant, idiotic masses actually understand the concept of liberal media bias. They may not always vote that way, but they DO understand. It's one reason that FOX (token liberals and all) has higher ratings than all the other 'nets combined.

Thank you for this very revealing thread!
The Liberal Agenda Media, (LAM), clearly has an agenda. What is so interesting is their knee-jerk, reflexive response to defend their guy, Obama, when ever Romney puts Obama on the defensive.
IMHO, the LAM knows the hot-button weak positions that Obama has, and jump in quickly to defend Obama.
This could be another watershed issue in the Campaign of Romney. Hopefully he will continue to pursue it in the same stiff backbone manner that he has shown in the last 24 hours, as the last thing Romney needs to do is to back off once he has found a vulnerable Obama weak spot such as this example of Obama’s limp-wristed Foreign Policy.
The Arabs had their “Spring,” and now we have the LAM Fall. Can’t WAIT!
About what I would expect from the Communist Broadcasting System, But then they are almost ALL in the tank for the Kenyon Punk with Fox somewhat less socialist than the rest.
The media is NOT biased.
If you stupid racist, sexist, homophobic Teabaggers were smarter, you’d realize that.
