Good news if true.
I saw nothing wrong with what he said, other than uttering the word “abortion”. Can you tell me what you thought a “legitimate” abortion was supposed to mean when you decided Todd is not what we needed? I think he’s just what we need.
Sen Mike Lee (R-UT) was just on with Mark Levin he did not sound optimistic about the Senate.
You won't. They aren't going to admit they were bias against Akin. They changed their map for Missouri under pressure but that's as far as they will go.
or at other news outlets
Are you kidding? You expect the news outlets to cover a cover up? Especially the LSM? LOL
Boy, sound advice ...
Is anyone reading or listening at the RNC ?????
Click the Missouri state on the map and see.
Conservative outlets would cover any reversal by the NRSC toward Akin.
I doubt there has been any change.
“CINOs routinely insist, in displays of foot-stamping pique, that conservatives have “a responsibility to support any/all Republican candidate(s), once they’ve won their respective nomination.” Their mulish insistence, up until now, on NOT doing likewise (re: Akin) was a particularly poisonous display of GOP-e brand hypocrisy in action.”
Excellent point, Kent.

Thannnnnnnnnnnnnnnnkyou. ;)
So you have changed your mind from a couple weeks ago and now support Akin?
“we do not shoot our wounded. if gaffes excludes you, why is biden still vp?”
You don’t even have to look that far. The issue Akin spoke on is a relatively minor one. He did not say he would vote to retain ObummerCare, did not say he would vote for trillion dollar deficits, did not say he would vote to confirm leftist judges, etc. Yet he was lambasted and hounded by his own party elites. Meanwhile, Romney keeps saying he is proud of RomneyCare and sees a lot he likes about ObummerCare. Romney’s statements are 1,000 times more anathema to conservatives than anything 97+ ACU rated Akin has ever said. But I did not hear Preibus, Rove, et al. demanding Romney step aside.
As the kids say: "Word." ;)
It was ‘legitimate rape’, not ‘legitimate abortion’. However, I agree that his comments, though stupid for a candidate to make, were hardly that bad to merit the uproar. The GOP needs some balls....
Why is Missouri a paler shade of blue verses other blue states?????
This Missouri resident is going to send Todd Akin another small donation right now.
I still think he is selfish...
Unfortunately the selfish people of his State get to pick their own Republican candidates.
They need to get rid of big mouth, loser Rove for joking that Akin be murdered. That is a much worse thing to say that what Akin said. Rove is being selfish not to step down after saying that. He’s a Rino, stinking up Utopia.
Unless the Army member shot himself on the foot and dragged others with him for it. Akin put other Republicans in unnecessary situations.
Don’t forget Linda Lingle in Hawaii.
I’m having a hard time forgiving Rove for “joking” about murdering Akin and assisting the abortionists at Planned Parenthood. He should step down from any role in the GOP, if not now, after the election. He’s an A$$.
