The number of protesters outside the US embassy in Cairo began to decrease Tuesday night after thousands had gathered earlier to protest a film they said was being produced in the United States that insults the Prophet Mohamed.

Ultras, hardcore football fans, have joined the protest, banging drums, setting off fireworks and insulting the Central Security Forces soldiers stationed around the embassy.

Earlier, around 5,000 people chanted against the US and President Barack Obama, declaring that they are willing to give their lives to avenge the dignity of their prophet.

Hopefully the results in Nov will be like 1980.

I sure hope so but this isn't the same nation as it was in 1980.

My opinion only, the date of these protests. 9/11, a victory for Islam in the minds of folk who celebrate their victory in the 1973 war each year may be far more important to the protesters than the unknown film.

It's not the dumb Muslims. It's Islam. 57 countries already dominated. and They are moving in on Europe , Africa, Russia etc. .Look at that post on this thread that shows you how Muslims dominate a country as their percentage increases. They do it mostly through immigration and breeding like cockroaches having 7 kids per each burka clad hyena.

The funny thing is, some say it is a film by Terry Jones that's already been made on utube, another report claims it is a film by a Belgian, another says it is a US film not yet made, another says it is an Israeli making the film, and yet another claims it is a film by the Copts.

No one seems to agree on exactly which film it is, probably because no one's asked, instead the reporters are fed a line of bull from the state dept about some film, and the reporters embellished it by looking for a film in the works that would fit the story.

Simplest explanation, though, is that the protesters are just celebrating 9/11 and didn't just accidentally happen to time their protest for its anniversary.
