He did not indicate he'll support most of Obamacare. He named two "reforms" that his plan has in common with Obamacare. There are literally hundreds of aspects of Obamacare, so agreeing with two of them is not that bad. That's an awful lot of Koolaid. The problem is that the two reforms he supports happen to be major cost drivers. If he just supports them -- and no mandate -- then insurance companies will either jack rates through the roof or go out of business. If you think pure Community Rating works in a free market, I have a bridge to sell you.

I have no problem with sky high rates for people who decide to buy insurance after they find out they're sick.
It would serve as an incentive to buy insurance before you get sick.
And if somebody wants to insure their dead beat 28 year old child, that's their business.
In neither case did Romney mention anything about making these options price friendly or spreading the costs around.
I'm not drinking kool-aid, I just refuse to constantly assume the worst about Romney. That bothers some people around here.
According to some around here, there was no difference between Chris Christie and Jon Corzine or Christie Todd Whitman. He's not perfect, but he's a damn sight better than both of them. I'll hate Romney for the crap he does, not for the crap people tell me he's going to do.

Thank goodness... for a minute there I thought ole’ Romney was going to go over to the other side./s

Did you feel the same because he dared to speak to the NAACP?
I'm losing patience with the concerned trolls operating in Obama's interests to suppress enthusiasm and GOP turnout.

If bringing his message to this conference gets you off the wagon, if you believe Romney was advocating for ObamaCare, you're not paying careful attention and just letting your panic button rule the day.
Get a grip! Join reality and work to defeat Obama.

Losing patience....lol. You could not possibly be losing patience with people. That is ridiculous. It was CLEARLY stated that Romney is a liberal and guess what? It is truer than I even thought. I am not forcing Romney to do these liberal things.

I am voting for the jerk but I can’t stand a thing he does. He is so far from our principles on this site that it is not even recognizable. He clearly is the wrong candidate for us.

You baby killer need to check yourself. Romney is not a conservative. You are so blinded by his looks that you can’t even see it.

I have NEVER seen a worst candidate in my life on the Republican side. This is sick and the Romney lovers are out of control. This is so insane. It is fine to vote for the guy but to put him on some sick pedestal is so psychotic. I don't get the love of this guy from Romney lovers. I will vote for him, but I be damned if I am going to put him up for Sainthood that some here want me to do. It is not going to happen.

I can understand folks wanting to get behind Romney since Obama is so undeniably bad. What bothers me is when folks address Romney weaknesses, and the idiots try to shout them down by calling them names like Obama lover, or turncoat, or a useful idiot.
No, the useful idiot is the one that tries to bludgeon Conservatives so they will either shut up or vote for things we have railed against for decades.
Sorry, I’m against things on their own merits, and if my side does them I’m just as opposed as when Democrats do them.
Frankly, the guy you’re addressing here has been non-stop attacking true Conservatives for weeks now. The only thing he is doing by taking this tone, is destroying his own credibility. Not that big a deal, since he never had any here anyway.
