FReeper heads explode!
Just when Obama was desperate for something to attack, Akin steps up!
We drove all the way through Missouri from St. Louis to Joplin this past weekend.
The billboards we saw and radio stations we heard all really do support Akin.
Good
It’s a red state that voted for McCain. How many people do they think are going to show up and vote against Obama but for McCaskill? It’s hard to imagine the thought process in someone’s mind that could lead them to do that. It’s going to be an even bigger red state than last time and Romney’s coattails will help the Republican Senate ticket.
I wonder what Rove and the Geriatric Old Plotters will do to set this back.
http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/2928062/posts reports are that Akin is out of money. If both reports are true, Akin needs to get his act together, put out the word that he’s still in the race and competitive, and start raking in the contributions and spending them.
McCaskill at 42% AFTER the Akin debacle tells me there is no chance she can win. I felt at the time he should have gotten out, and I wish he had, but we go to battle with the soldier we have, and I support Akin for the win. He’s a fine congressman, and he’ll be a good Senator. His only negative is that he is a potential political liability for the next 60 days. If he continues to lead, he’ll raise more than enough money down the stretch to win it. Our base has won for countless candidates in the last three years. Picking off the repulsive McCaskill is incentive enough to send money in a few weeks if Akin looks to be in a good position.
How possibly could he be in the race? All the GOPE told us that he was a disaster and would not only lose his race but the senate and possibly;y the White House and House. Could they have been wrong, Again?
NcCaskel is a train wreck. Aikin said one thing a little silly, but McCaskil is just plain wrong on everything. She will lose as she deserves to.
The GOPe and RINO’s are going to be pee ode
Bwaaaaaaahahahahahahahahahaaaaaa!
I’d like to see the party affiliation. Until the numbers come from Ras and other outlets, I won’t put much weight on PPP (that came up with Akin +1 the day before he could resign, with R+9 sample) or any poll sponsored by Parkins. More importantly, only after Sep 25 we see the real numbers, whether those who say to support him real or the Dhims playing operation chaos.
This may turn out to be a “learning moment.” Trent Lott’s innocent comment to Thurmond got him demoted when it shouldn’t have. I am not defending linguini-spined Lott, but speaking against allowing the left and the media to destroy people, as is their wont.
Akin chose his words poorly, if it can be said he chose them at all, and a mistake of that sort should not eliminate otherwise capable candidates.
Karl Rove is in trouble now ~ all the Senate candidates are going to want him to threaten to murder them ~
If you bought any “Intrade” shares for McCaskill to win... now would be the time to sell... and fast.
the left has to get him past the next drop dead deadline.
This is their desperate bid to save obamacare and the senate.
Claire McCaskill is in trouble which is why she’s trying to distance herself from Obama and didn’t show at the democrat convention.
With Slate as the source, we should not expect the truth.
There was not a single thing wrong with what Akin said. Very few people have taken the time to learn it. The knee-jerk fear demonstrated the the GOPe and bulk of Freepers is astonishing. When it comes to the defense of innocent human life in the womb, it is beyond time to get in the media’s face, not to turn tail like a bunch of pus*ies. There was no need for Akin to apologize, but to clarify, and say it more forcefully: we’re dealing with innocent human life in it’s most vulnerable state.
Donated a pittance to Akin today, and as opportunity allows, hope to donate more. Meanwhilke there’s a whole lotta Freepers who need to pull their head out and learn a little about truth, and a good many who wouldn’t know spine if it hit ‘em in the face.
I guess Karl Rove will be sending some of his SuperPAC money to McCaskill.
