Before his speech, I thought it was Obama’s to lose.
Now, it’s Mitt’s to lose.

The entire convention was pathetic. Its the first convention Ive seen that provided footage for the opposition to make ads.
Tons of ads!

Still, after last night's convention/zoo CF, hopefully it's indicative of serious depression among the ranks of the lefty pukes prone to seminar spamming and poll manipulation !
Better yet, and in combination therewith, perhaps Clint's published interview has large numbers of them on suicide watch . . . ;-)

How odd? I voted after your post and the poll is only showing 1,881 total votes? Some scrubbing going on behind the scenes? Do they block referring address (i.e. FreeRepublic.com) addresses?

Actually, I just bought a new TV and I was afraid that I'd throw my shoe at it.
Too bad. My natural instinct is to see and hear both sides to anything... but with Liberal politicians, it's all too predictable and nauseating.
Liberals behave as if America has only ONE party, and has never had ...should never have more than one party... THEIRS!
I don't think that will work. Actually, there isn't a place on earth where it works or has EVER worked!
You don't need a Ph.D. in political science or history to know that.

I give it a D. About the same as I gave Romney. I didn't watch the speech, but I just read the transcript, looking for an economic plan. Here's my notes.
- Blasts republicans for pointing out everything thats wrong but offering no plan. (Valid point, but he offers little as a plan himself. And he's the incumbent.)
- Says republicans only prescription is cut taxes and cut regulations (pretty much true).
- Wants to give tax breaks to companies that create jobs in America. (insufficient and ineffective - will reward companies for doing what they were going to do anyway. Will not move jobs back from overseas)
- Energy plan is making cars more fuel efficient to reduce demand and developing natural gas. (like romney's develop everything plan better. neither strong on details).
- Reduce carbon pollution. (Hurts the economy, doesn't help it.).
- Use war money to pay down debt and put people back to work. (but no specifics on how he will put people back to work.)
- Build roads, bridges, schools and runways. (Another stimulus plan he can't be trusted with)
- Reduce cost of healthcare, but no plan on how.
That's it. His economic plan is as empty as Romney's. No mention of international trade at all. Weak energy plan. But takes credit for increased energy independence, even though it's the result of a depressed economy and drilling that has happened despite Obama.
We are so screwed for the next 4 years.

I can’t stand to look at him or listen to the sound of his voice. I hit the mute button and pick up a magazine when he’s on or switch channels.

Mr Romney,Say something likethis: Instead of “Hoping for change” I have a Plan for change that will bring us back to prosperity.

LOL! I had martial arts class, and re-runs of NCIS to watch! :) I watched a Dave Ramsey video. Far more substance, far more enlightening and educational to boot.

“I didnt watch one minute of their hateful convention.”
I watched a bit of Joe Biden’s introduction. My wife and I watched Gabbby’s Pledge after the convention ended. I did watch Castro give his speech because I am a San Antonian.
I did tell my wife and kids, I will watch until the first outright lie is told. My convention experience lasted 10 minutes.
