its not a turning point for Democrats..they were just overjoyed that God was railroaded back in..thats all it took to please the Christian Democrats..didnt matter what kind of mind set took God out in the first place; they are all happy Democrats once more.
It isn’t just away from God it’s also toward communism. Savage is so on point here. Imagine the intolerance and how lost and rude are the people who thought nothing of BOOING the mention of God on national tv.
Out here in the real world the leftists are the loudest most intolerant voices, in power they will do heinous things, and they have.

Consequences.
The Democrat rejection of God is illustrative of the fundamental difference between Republicans and Democrats. Without a belief in God, there are no God-given rights of man. Without God-given rights, all rights emanate from the state, the State is supreme.
If the State is supreme, the “We the People” wording of the constitution is meaningless as is the checks and balance system that is written into the constitution.
I believe this is the reasoning that John Roberts used when he declared Obamacare to be constitutional. I believe it is also the reasoning behind the court throwing out most of the AZ immigration law (some of that ruling was reversed on appeal) as well as the court ruling against voter ID in Texas.

No one should be surprised at this turn of events. Socialists always go after religion. So far, this is very mild but if they gain confidence in their positions of power they will turn on the religious just as happened in the Paris Reign of Terror, the Bolshevik revolution in Russia, the Spanish civil war, Pol Pot’s slaughter - in fact, wherever marxists have come to power.

The Democrats are not only waging a war against the Catholic Church, they are waging a war against God in our lives. The Democrats are Statists, who believe that the Government is Supreme. That’s probably the reason that the media so often depicts Obama as some sort of deified being.
He is right. This is much bigger “out in flyover country” than the inside the beltway crowd thinks. I’ve already heard from socially conservative but democrat leaning union folks who are livid over it.

I’m not a huge Michael Savage fan, but he may be right that this is a turning point. Let’s hope the people wake up and see the Democratic Party for what it has become.
