Immobilized with fear, a 4-year-old British girl huddled for eight hours beneath the legs of her slain mother in the back of a car filled with corpses on a remote Alpine road all while French investigators stood nearby, unaware the girl was there.

Wow.
Prayers for this little girl. I can’t even begin to imagine what she saw, heard and endured till rescued.
and prayers for her 8 yr old sister whose skull was smashed by the madman who did this, and who is supposedly still clinging to life
the last instincts of her mother and grandmother saved this child’s life
Half assed police work. FIRST thing you do when you find casualties is you count them and assess their life signs. NOT look through the window!
Brought to you by the same geniuses that pulled over with Princess Diana on the side of the road instead of rushing her to the hospital.
excellent french investigation strikes again. sarc no friggin wonder they never found the fiat that was crashed into Diana’s Mercedes
“Brought to you by the same geniuses that pulled over with Princess Diana on the side of the road instead of rushing her to the hospital”
That’s how they keep the medical costs down in France....seriously.

The two other bodies are believed to be those of her grandmother and father, who has been named as Saad Al Hilli, a Baghdad-born business secretary who now lives with his family in upmarket Claygate in Surrey.
( He is also believed to have been the secretary of a Wiltshire-based aerial photography company, AMS 1087, since 2007)

Nothing to see. Move along, move along...
Same old story, same old song-and-dance.
Nothing substantive will be done.
This crap will happen again, on another day, in another place.
It will never end until we saddle up, ride out, and kill the perps ourselves. With our own bare hands if necessary.
Probably Amish related...
You make very good points there. This is a dark and murky story.
Ah Yldstrk, don’t be so hard on the French authorities involved in the Diana case. They didn’t WANT to find that Fiat. And it is so hard to find something if you do not want to.
As for this case, I have an alternative reading of the “mistakes”. There have been two of them. Firstly, the procurer - a high state official - said that the child who was shot had died. In fact, it was soon revealed that she was being rushed to hospital. They also claimed that there was no word on the other child, because it was eight hours before they found her, hiding in the car. This is possible - in a car sealed off for forensics - but it is strange.
Possibly, they have been trying to conceal the fact that the two children survived. They are under police guard now, and need to be. They would be safer if believed dead. They are in great danger if “someone” moves to close their mouths - they are the only witnesses in a case with overtones of the intelligence agencies.
Probe into 'feud link'
By STEPHEN MOYES;
THE Alps massacre may have come in the wake of a family feud, it was hinted at last night. French cops were believed to be investigating whether a family drama could have played a part in the horror.
Sources claimed detectives were probing this line of inquiry as well as theories the killings may have resulted from a botched robbery or the family stumbling on a drug deal.
Yesterday it emerged Saad confided to a neighbour that something was troubling him before he went on holiday. Jack Saltman, 75, revealed Iraqi-born Saad begged him to keep an eye on his empty house.

Intelligence agencies target children now?
‘Madman’? The person or persons who did this weren’t madmen, they were evil, cold, calculated murderers well worthy of an ignominious death at the end of a rope.
A genuine madman who kills has no rational reason for what he does, nor can they perceive that what they have done is wrong. That sort of person cannot be held fully culpable for their actions.
Hmmm..an execution...of British “Iraqi” (betting Iranian BTW..given what else is playing out) refugee assets..while the French diddle trying to decide which side they going to dance with...
My thought is that he was heavily involved in some sort of clandestine activity, whether espionage or smuggling, and that he used his camping trips and his family as a cover for his rendevous, and these activities were the source of his income, which appears to have been comfortable.
So my next thought is that he pushed his side of the deal too far and he thought he was making his usual contact on this outing, but his correspondents had other plans for him and his family on this final occasion.
This is the only sort of thing that makes any sense to me.
..the sibling who was accused of having money issues with the victim, has come forward to say he was not involved..now authorities are focusing on “satellite” employment of the intended execution style “2 shots to the head/victim. Maybe intent to sent a message as family also shot? and eye witnesses[wrong place, wrong time? or intended meeting?]; as seems the killer[s]could have targeted the former Iraqi citizen/satellite specialist on his own.
Enemy Intelligence: Iranians, Russians..etc killers have no conscience Look at Syria
