Dianne Feinstein announced Wednesday that shes re-entering the battle over gun control during her keynote speech to the California delegates to the Democratic National Convention.
Feinstein was president of the San Franciscos Board of Supervisors on what she calls that citys day of infamy in 1978, when a former colleague shot and killed Harvey Milk and Mayor George Moscone. Since then, Senator Feinstein has been one of the most vocal proponents of gun control on Capitol Hill.
She promised California delegates shed return to Congress to reintroduce an updated assault weapons bill.
At the delegates' breakfast, she said that, "Weapons of war do not belong on our streets, in our classrooms, in our schools or in our movie theatres."
Feinstein co-sponsored an assault weapons ban signed into law in 1994, which expired 10 years later.
Doesn’t Diane Feinstein have a concealed weapon’s permit - whereas no one else in CA (unless well connected) can get one?
Hmmmm

Go for it Fineswine! Some people never learn.

Senator Feinstein is a staunch gun control advocate. Despite her stance, in the 1970s, she obtained a concealed firearms carry permit, and carried a handgun with her. A CCW permit was then rare in California, and was the only such permit in San Francisco. At the time, she was the target of a terrorist group that had shot out all the windows in her home. She no longer carries a gun.
The bastards sure are laying it out: abortion, gun control, faggotry, socialism, anti-Israel ...
Go for it. It will be so nice for the Senate to finally be under the control of the R's.
That's what you have to look forward to.

Molon labe Dianne!
Molon labe Dianne!
Diane and her take on guns, is precisely the Democrat’s take on racism and Republicans.
When I was a child, probably around ten, I heard the idea that when you point at someone, three of your fingers are actually pointing back at yourself. I always thought that was a lame point, but in the instance of modern day Democrats, there’s really no better way to express what is actually taking place.
Over one hundred and fifty years of the Democrats despicable behavior, is being placed on the backs of the party who opposed them at every step of the racist path they were walking down during this period in our history.
And it continues to this very day.
Love it. ;^)
His position has “evolved.”
Romney Once Supported Assault Weapons Ban

Romney spokeswoman Andrea Saul said, As he has repeatedly said, Gov. Romney believes that the best way to prevent gun violence is to vigorously enforce our laws.
As the Journal reported last year, the change began in 2005. In May of that year, Mr. Romney declared a Right to Bear Arms Day, and the governors top aides began meeting almost monthly with the Gun Owners Action League. Mr. Romney also signed legislation cutting some red tape detested by gun owners in November 2005, and less than a year later he became a member of the National Rifle Association.
This is what they have to look forward to.
But there are no consequences to their decision.......amirite?”
Romney sides with DiFi on this. He would be more than happy to sign such legislation ... just like he did in Mass.

you just introduce your bill honey. It will go nowhere and help us more than you.
If you think Romney supports this you need your head examined.
Get it out of your backside son!
Get used to it. He's anti-gun.

The phrase “snowball’s chance in h*ll” comes to mind.
The Democrats have no support whatsoever with (sane) gun owners. Feinstein has decided to hit rock bottom and start digging.
