I would not be surprised if Obama is lower in the polls after this freak show then he was before it.

Obama wants us to believe that this is Bush’s economy but if he’s reelected it’ll become Clinton’s economy. Sounds pretty convoluted to me.
Hardly. We (collectively) allowed Clinton to get away with rape and making his turning the Oval into the Oral Office a thing to snicker about, but he’s now the Great American President, ret., loved and admired by all (well, almost)..
What will hurt the Dems more is the fact that as they spin these tales and outright lie in an attempt to get votes. the people, Democrats included, who are living in Realville will know they are lying, and walk away from the party.
The only way that happens is if Clinton endorses Romney tonight on stage. The amount of heads exploding and mass panic and confusion would be unmatchable entertainment.

I don’t think so. If anything, it will have people longing for the good ‘ol days. I think it is a major strategic mistake. These days, even Republicans miss Clinton compared to the incompetent President we have today. Not a good comparison for Obama to put front-and-center.
And, Clinton isn’t in this for Obama. He’s in this for Clinton. Never hire a disloyal mercenary. I think Clinton would be just as happy to see Obama lose, and have an open field for the wifey to try-out in 2016.

Trying to think of what old wounds there were. The Democratic party hasn’t been wounded since 1968 as far as I know...or possibly 1980 if you count the Reagan Democrats.
They actually believe everything they’re saying... The disconnect is huge.

There are only two living former democrat presidents. And this convention pulled them both out of mothballs. You have to wonder why.
I heard Clinton won’t allow them to vet his speech. I guess he figures if he doesn’t say exactly what they want him to say he can retain some of his dignity.
Finally, what sickens me is the thundering approval this rapist will get.
