Democrats are using one of Barack Obama's strong suits, that voters believe he understands the problems of ordinary people, to trump his weakest suit, the economy.
Michelle Obama played those cards with force in a speech declaring that after four years as president, her husband is still the man who drove a rust-bucket on early dates, rescued a coffee table from the trash and knows the struggles of everyday Americans because he lived them in full.

Michelle on the other hand knows what it is to be black in America. Barry not so much.
But he was NEVER short of cash to buy choom and a little blow, when he could get it. People who have enough money to waste it on drugs can’t complain about being broke.
Don’t forget him attending the Punahou School in Hawaii — very elite and extremely hard to get into from what I understand.
The reason he was broke growing up was his mother had a worthless degree (almost as bad as “wimmin’s studies”), was obviously shiftless, got knocked up in her teens, and chose worthless men to marry. But lil Barry got a ton of money from his well-to-do Commie grandparents.

From his life of coming back to the USA at age 10 after being raised by servants in Indonesia? Being enrolled by his grandmother into Hawaii’s most plush private school where he diddled away his time hanging out in Honolulu’s red light district with “Pops” and riding around stoned in a choom wagon?
Spending at least 14 years of his life in plush private schools living off borrowed money?
Then on to Chicago, living off Ayers’ money, and into a tough job as a part time law lecturer and community organizer?

In a way. Her dad had a city job with the municipal water system, was a union rep and a minor ward boss.
She grew up in a two-story house right by the South Shore Country Club.
Her mother worked as an administrative assistant in a bank and was married to her father for 31 years, until his death.
Her family was a very comfortable, politically-connected middle class family with both parents married to one another and living under one roof - a roof located in a safe, prosperous bedroom community.
So her experience was atypical for the classic "real" South Side Chicago experience.

He never went to a regular public elementary school, never attended a Christian Sunday School, never played little league baseball, never played football in high school, never had a lemonade stand or fast food job to make spending money, never had to worry about getting into college, never worked his way through college waiting tables, never had to worry about money to buy a home because he was friends with a crook who gave him the money, and never had to work hard for election to public office because he slandered his competition and drove them from the race. Everything has come so easy for this unAmerican American. He has absolutely nothing in common with us, no matter what his drama queen wife says.

If we accept the word that he was once poor, How did he get a mansion in Chicago?
Where did that money come from?
How did she get her $300,000 dollar job at the hospital
Who paid for his first campaign?
If we accept the knowledge of his being poor can Michelle explain how they got rich? Aren’t we entitled to know?

His early campaigns were won via legal maneuvering. He ran against his mentor. Had other candidates disqualified with legal challenged and kicked off the ballot. He won his Senste seat by exposing sealed divorce records from his strongest opponent.
Real money issue is Harvard. Or the globe traveling he did including the Pakistan trip when it was closed to Amercans.
Oh yeah, like they both live like they know how it was to struggle. They are mooching off our dimes to go live their celebrity lifestyles. Gushing at the same time about how they love their children, and send them to an elite private school while denying vouchers to keep the “struggling folks” from sending their kids there.
This whole charade makes me want to puke.

Too many Americans ignore or have dismissed facts of Obama’s past .
