You're assuming that under Obama there will elections in the immediate future.
HUH?
Can you help me out here, I'm confooozed!
Almost skipped reading your comments based upon caption.
Can I suggest you ask mods to "correct it," and add something like "Real Conservatives can not, NOT vote for Romney/Ryan?"
Romney’s greatest liability is abortion. With it, his other Liberal tendencies are exposed. But it’s his failure to stand up for Life that drives the opposition.
I think it’s important we respect those Conservatives that choose not to vote for Romney. Ultimately, however, I believe Life & Liberty have better odds with the 3 Republican Houses.
Yep - when I was 22 I voted for Ross Perot because I thought Bush was not doing a good job. I was also pretty stoned at the time.
As a result of the Perot third party pusch... America got Slick willy for 8 friggin years.
I’m sorry, You were saying something about conservatism?
If Romney was a complete unknown, I'd still have to take a chance. Four years ago I pulled for Romney as the un-McCain.
Romney wasn't my first choice, either. He was and is the first choice of, at least, one conservative I respect. Ann Coulter says he governs with more conservative enthusiasm than he talks. She has cited examples of this and said it was necessary to get elected in Massachusetts. I hope she remains right.
It's starting to look like Romney will win this in a landslide, but nothing is sure. That Obama is sure to win in several states tells me how far our society has drifted. If we lived in a federalist nation as first envisioned, that wouldn't matter, but we don't.
This year a vote for a third party candidate is a vote for Obama. If we sit at home in November, we are voting for Obama, with our feet. Indeed, anyone that votes for Obama, using any vehicle, does not want the United States to survive as a soveriegn nation.
Such is my opinion.
Based on the number of freepers who read nothing but your headline, I suggest that you change it.
You are as big a narcissist as Ubama.
Mac, it is ok. It is what I have been saying all along. You are not compromising your ideals or your soul! WE ARE TRYING TO SAVE THE REPUBLIC! This POTUS must be sent packing and we have no more time left.
Now we can all talk about the rapture taking us, revolting, going 3rd party etc.
Fact is we are at the point we are at. It is today and a reality dictates that we stand together and get to work to elect R&R. That’s all we have left and I do
agree with you, R&R love this country AND believe in God, Family, Country in that order.
We have our marching orders....get to work!
Thank You Jim Robinson for stating what some of us capitulated earlier to do, but you gave the signal to all. We promise you to kick Romney in the ——if he doesn’t do the job.
God Bless us all, and God Bless America!!
Bottom line...nobody tells me who to vote for....it’s called freedom.
I’m as conservative as they come. There are no more than a handful of Republicans that I don’t find too liberal. Never thought I would vote for much less work for Romney. If Obama wins, America is finished. He won’t be worried about winning any more elections. The past 3 years is just a tiny taste of what is to come. It would be foolish to sit this one out. DO whatever you can. GIVE whatever you can. No regrets.
I'm glad to see more people voting for R&R. With Mr. Robinson's Aug. 20th post, which I just was alerted to, I feel much better about conservatives coming together.
I read your paragraphs. With such title, cannot completely blame anyone who replied in haste.
Don’t feed the Troll. Go back to DU!
How is this under NEWS?
Everyone needs some attention once in their life, I guess.
Oops I apologize. I just read the title and assumed...
I am in the same boat as you on this election. I don’t like Romney, but I will almost certainly hold my nose and vote for him. I respect the decision of those who will vote third-party; who we vote for is a personal decision that we all have to make before nobody else but God. So I keep my head down and try to stay out of the Romney Wars. I’ll know my decision when I’m standing in that voting booth.
In the meantime, I’m not going to get sucked into the insult-slinging between camps here. Everybody’s got to make their own voting decision come November. My hope is that regardless of who somebody votes (or doesn’t vote) for as President, they vote conservative down the line in all the OTHER elections and help push Congress, and state and local governments, as far to the right as possible. Whatever one may think about Romney, the down-ticket races are just as, or maybe more, important to vote in.

A principled fool is still a fool.
I certainly can see your point. Romney is not a true conservative. But to not vote is to vote for Obama, who is also not a conservative.
So I’m holding the nose and swinging on the elephant’s tail, as I always do, even though I am not a Republican.
And I will match my conservative credentials against anyone’s.
