I’m home safe and sound....it is blowing like crazy! I think a good place for the garbage cans is in the garage for the night. Hearing all sorts of funny noises.
Did I say i did not like the high winds???
Left my car out of the garage, just in case.

Funny you mention VW Bugs. The race car I drove this last weekend is based on the powertrain and running gear of a mid-’60s Beetle. And it was such fun to drive!

Watching over me - Indeed, yes! The God of Abraham, Jacob, and Moses! The Son of God who endured crucifixion to redeem our souls. I believe that as fully and truly as I believe anything! Those brave Marines were not there by accident!

I feel your pain. Gross tonnage is your friend.
Last family vacation was from Kansas down to San Antonio. I couldnt believe I was being pushed up to 90 by semi trucks in the fast lane. On the return trip we.....I jumped off the interstate before we even got close to Dallas and we took a 2 day trip in the slow lane back to the flat lands. The passengers hated it for the first few hours but the fresh watermelon stands and off the beaten path mode took hold and it turned into quite a nice trip home.

Awesomeness! Thanks for sharing that, Kathy! The guys in the
con room were just like little kids in their enthusiasm for
the successful landing and first pictures! :)
