Obviously your conscience doesn’t bother you enough to refrain from half truths which make obama’s ‘statement’ a full fledged lie. But you go right on ahead and be ‘fair’.

Wasn’t he an Illinois state senator at the time? What the hell would he know? I survived Katrina. The government, at least in Mississippi, did everything it could. It was akin to Nagasaki, what does Barry think was left undone? How would he have done a better job? We were without electricity, water, air conditioning, phones, the Internet, etc. with thousands dead and water everywhere. Everything withing miles of the Gulf was utterly destroyed, with few exceptions. If Louisiana had loaded those poor people on the buses and driven upstate or to Arkansas or Texas as was planned, things would’ve been much better. Any idea why the DEMOCRATS in charge over there didn’t do that?

Low life POS. The GOP needs to start personalizing this race. Put everything on the table.

It actually looks like he insulted the coordination between the Bush administration and state/local officials after Kaatrina. Which, to be honest, is perfectly fair - federal, state and local agencies did a horrible job coordinating their response.

The fault is shared between Gov “Give me Everything” Blanco and Mayor “Scuba Busses” Nagin.

Its funny how they could quickly rally transportation, food and information when their reelection was threatened. How come they couldn’t do that when their people were in danger?

The truth is that Governor Blanco refused entry of about 500 relief vehicles filled with supplies and food for about a week into Louisiana. They had to rush generators into the holding area to refrigerate the perishable food item. My cousin, who was part of the coordinating force, was furious they did this to embarrass President Bush. Zer0 knows very well what happened and chooses to stick it to Bush to remind people that his mismanagement is the source of all our problems.

..because "Blank" Blanco and Admiral Nagin were told not to respond by higher ups in the DNC setting up the perfect blame game....it didn't matter that Bush had been telling Blanco for three days to get off her ass and move...it didn't matter that Nagin a few days before said they had everything under control

While simultaneously hiding the fact he IGNORED the Gulf Spill for 6 weeks, kept foreign aid to skim oil away, held up BP for $10B without any legal basis, banned new drilling in the Gulf, gave drilling rights to Venezula and told them we would be their best customer, and finally topping it off by taking he and his SAB mooch wife for a 1 day trip to the beach to tell everyone what a wonderful job he did.....

The fact is that FEMA did take a week to get going in Katrina. It was because the local government and infrastructure was Democrat, from Nagin to Blanco. They were all words and no action. Unfortunately, Katrina demanded action, both prepatory and after.

I screamed at the TV when I heard that. He didn’t even blink. No mention of Blanco or chocolate city mayor Nagin.

63 days left to get rid of this repugnant prick.

What does a junior Senator (& community organizer) from Chicago’s gutter know about ANYTHING?!

You have that wrong. Let me correct it for you.

Especially that! He was mentored by a communist. He was buddies with a domestic terrorist. He was a drug addict in high school. Yes. Everything.

I think there was also something said about the feds, by law, not getting involved until requested to do so by the state.

If he wants to go back and blame Bush for the economy I say Romney should do an ad showing what he was busy “building” while obama was community organizing and suing banks to force them to give sub-prime loans to people who couldn’t afford them. obama’s sorry a$$ needs to be dragged into that mess because he was part of the problem.

Of course there was. Blanc AND Nagin were the ones that kept FEMA in limbo.

Roger that. Just makin' sure you're all in. :)

This "he's a nice guy who's in over his head" crap has got to stop. Neither he nor the communist traitors who facilitated his meteoric rise to power can be described as anything remotely resembling "nice." As is sometimes shouted at pro wrestling matches: "Give 'im the chair!"
