Rape is not just a nightmare for military women.
Of the estimated 19,000 reported sexual assaults and rapes in the armed forces last year, the majority were actually committed against men.
Men are assaulted at a lower rate — 1% of servicemen reported being attacked by a comrade last year versus 4.4% of women — but that still translates to more than 10,000 cases compared with 9,000 attacks on female recruits and officers.

No such thing as a straight man sexually assault another man, that is homosexuality and that is a homo.
I found out off a few guys I served with who are still serving and they said there has been widespread problems but it is being kept quiet .
Not only over here but over in Afghanistan too there has been widespread problems like officers making comments, rape, assaults, certain homosexual language being said to lesser officers , NCO’s and privates etc, even a party was thrown and it was a homosexual party with many cross dressing.
Wait till the medals and promotions are given out based on how one likes to have their sex.
Don;t ask should never have been done but now it was it should never have been overturned and that survey they gave out was bogus.

Most of us who have served know this was going to be a problem, most of us know that kids with natural normal parents mother and a father are better off mentally in the long run than a kid being bought by a homosexual and ten they play family.
One person on here said we have lost this war in the 90’s, well you know what after the 90’s is when most states voted to keep marriage so that line of we have lost is to stop us fighting this issue.

Maybe those who say that should see that their friend get away from a very diseased , earlier death sex and help them plus go to their parades and bars when they do not know you are around and I guarantee they will see another person.

Now contrast the amount of rapes and thencompare a city of the same number of people and rapes or a county.
The amount of sexual assaults is staggering and there is obviously a problem within.

liberals make a big point, about claiming that most rapes of women, are NOT reported...
they typically mulitiply the numbers, to account for this.
...yet:
1) the FBI DNA lab, shows that about 40% of rape charges are false. (the DNA of the accused rapist, doesn’t match.)
false rape reports are common by women.
(like that woman who had 5 college men in jail last year... until cellphone video showed it was consentual...
she only claimed it was rape, so her boyfriend wouldn’t leave her.)
2) the unreported rate of males being rape, is certainly MUCH higher.
...so, instead of 10k to 9k, the true numbers must be many times more... of homosexuals committing rape. the number of men raped is certainly at least 20,000.
3) this also applies to the Priest abuse scandal.
almost ALL (99%) is GAY men, molesting boys.
...how many cases are there, of a Priest molesting a girl?

Because willing sex also gets boring to people who are insatiable, they have to start going further in order to satisfy themselves.

Military laws against sodomy and homosexuality have their roots in the Articles of War adopted by the Royal Navy. In the sailing Navy, the victims were largely the boys and young men of the ship’s company, serving as servants or prospective seamen. They were almost invariably assaulted by the ship’s officers. Officers had the power over the men and they had the opportunity with some semblance of privacy in their berthing arrangements. The death penalty that could be imposed was intended to protect the boys and serve as a deterrent.
And so it will be once again. The predators will officers and noncommissioned officers, both male and female. Their victims will be young soldiers and sailors and the system will do nothing to protect them because of the political climate. Quite a legacy for our President, I’d say.
I have been hit on throughout my life by gay guys.... if one actually attempted rape... it would be the worst day of his life....

I retired last year. FWIW I started with a year in Vietnam. Never heard of anything like this, thought hard drugs were the worst thing to happen to the military. Guess I was wrong.

How important these numbers are depends on how they define “sexual assault,” as a loose definition will result in a much larger total number. Also article doesn’t define if this is active duty only or includes reserves.
FBI statistics for the whole country indicate something around 400,000 sexual assaults and rapes. In a country of 300M.
Unless my math is confused (quite possible) this means these things occur at a rate roughly 10x that in the country (if active duty only) or 5x if reserves are included.
These numbers should take into consideration that the military is largely composed of the age of men most likely to commit such acts. IOW, compared to the rate among young men not in the military.
In the military it is often only possible by a group of guys going after one guy.
