I know I looked at my husband and said he knew he could be funny? I thought it was funny. It’s OK to make fun of mentally disabled babies but not a grown man? I loved Clint Eastwood before now I love him even more.

My wife said that on WLW 700 (Cincinnati) a lot thought it hurt Romney because it "took away" from his speech. Doubt it. If anything, it added viewers.
But just ask yourself: who are the libs totally freaked out about today? Clint.
Rush Limbaugh: "They will tell you who they fear."

Tim Slagle's column about schooling late night comics was spot on! Eastwood gave a voice to the silent majority who find Obama intolerable. If anyone in the world is immune from "return fire," it is undoubtedly Clint Eastwood.
Eastwood gave a magnificent performance. Frankly, I am pleasantly surprised WaPo used the stinging photo of Clint conversing with the empty chair.
When somebody is not doing their job, it is time for them to go...cue Hollywood sign for "cut."
LOL! Eastwood used a razor sharp knife, and twisted it expertly with each jab.
Imagine that--the actor famous for gunfights used a verbal knife to accomplish his task.

Thinking I kinda like Ed Timperlake. Nice take on Eastwood's chat with the ‘vacant’ obama. Thinking of putting an old chair down by my mailbox on election day-maybe before. Need to figure out what to put on it!

Something about “Obama campaign appearance, today! Come ask him a question.”
And place it next to the empty chair.
May need a little more brainstorming, but I think the idea is a good one, especially if a lot of people all over start doing it in their yards and post pix online. We might be able to drive a whole lot of lefty libs over the edge.
Chrissie Matthews is already teetering...

Eastwood was right on and is distracting the libs from building up the Dems convention. And the empty chair is great for ridiculing Obambi

Clint Eastwood could have speechified (
I know what you are thinking. You are thinking, whats a movie tradesman doing out here?) and it would have been just another speech.
But Clint made it abundently clear that Obama is a total failure and that Whether you are a Democrat or Republican or whether youre libertarian or whatever, you are the best. And we should not ever forget that. And when somebody does not do the job, we got to let them go.

What bugged me in Eastwood's routine was his occasional stumbling and bumbling... he talked for too long, and I couldn't understand what he said at times. I did understand the empty chair routine, though. Wasn't that done in the Vaudeville days? I know comedians like Bob Newhart did that schtick as well.
