The Twitter account of Barack Obama responded last night to Clint Eastwood's Republican convention speech mocking Obama with an empty chair.
A photo captioned "This seat's taken" was posted featuring a rear view of Obama presiding over a meeting while seated in a highback leather chair with a brass plaque on the back embossed, "THE PRESIDENT January 20, 2009"

This image makes me feel simultaneously amused and physically ill. We could cover our eyes and use that green thing to sling him back to Indonesia. Okay! I’m feeling better!
ROFLMAO
Some guys pull on them harder than other guys.
***I don’t think we need to make too much of this.***
Now that the Empty Chair has become the symbol for the Resident, you might want to re-think “making too much of it.” An Empty Chair will be taking the place of yard signs, and bumper stickers featuring an Empty Chair will be taking the place of conventional stickers. Everywhere Zero goes, empty chairs will mock him. There is a wealth of Empty Chair graphics out on the web for us to use to mock Zero and his minions. This whole “meme” will grow, as evidenced with National Empty Chair Day, and Zero is powerless to stop it.
Alinsky’s Rules For Radicals
Rule 5:
Ridicule is mans most potent weapon. Its hard to counterattack ridicule, and it infuriates the opposition, which then reacts to your advantage.
What you said.
A Romney yard sign is one thing.
A Romney yard sign with an empty folding chair next to it is quite another.
I don’t think you understood my post. My point was, believing the Romney team used Alinsky rules in allowing the empty chair skit is a little over the top. Sure, it fits the mold, but that doesn’t mean they consciously used Alinsky rules. I doubt that very much.

BTW, Thank you for providing the tech assist.
I was wrong in telling F15Eagle that picture size was not device dependent.
I have started using the ‘percentage’ rather than ‘pixels’ and have noticed the differences in sizing. Before (for some dumb *ss reason), I had thought the pixel width would be absolute instead of device dependent.
It was after I made a fool of myself telling F15Eagle it was his fault that I started thinking about the various details he responded with. Your response confirmed it.
My apologies, F15Eagle. At least I learned something.
Did you do the editing on that photo ?
Nope....just found it online.
