Ann told the Friends this morning that she was very nervous last night for Mitt...not at all for her speech, she was excited to get out on stage.
The one with the “chair” is anti-Mitt.
Taylor Hicks...winner of American Idol a few seasons ago. He was on with the Friends this morning and wouldn’t say who he was voting for but just that it was such an honor to play a national convention. (I’m sure he’s voting for Mitt.)
The Friends were upset that the networks failed to show the Mitt video which showed the side of Mitt so few know about.
Seeing Janna’s dress up close has changed my opinion...never noticed the neckline. :)
The move is called ‘Trouble With the Curve’ and it comes out on 9-21.
Wow—I love her!
Perfect, Star! :)
Why are you constantly posting about your liberal “friends” on facebook and their nonsense. Delete them. Are they really your friends in real life? Honestly?
I have no need to keep in contact with 99% of the people I went to school with or used to work with or met for a summer ten years ago. You can do it...delete them out of your life!!
lol
the networks barely showed anything in the 10pm to 11pm hour except for the keynote speech. lets see what they do next week.
Thanks, Star honey. :)
I spent part of this morning listening to a 'black' talk radio station. It is just amazing how their hosts and callers interpreted last night's speakers.
* Romney lied.
* Every speaker lied.
* No one gave any specifics on what they were 'going to do for the people.'
* Romney cannot have America's best interests at heart, because he invested his money outside of the USA.
* Etc....
Constantly? I think I mentioned it three times...we hear what the lib media is saying on these threads, I thought I’d share what was going on in Facebook land. Apologies to all—had no idea you were in charge of the threads.
Kind of agree with you, but it was Twinkle Toes Charlie Crist, who endorsed McNuts on the eve of the Florida primary, that put McNuts over the top! IMHO, had Crist not done that, we would have had a President Romney...sigh
There were actually only two real clinkers for me.
One was the just awful colloquy between Newt and Callista. They looked like two aging Ken and Barbie's standing there swiveling their heads.....stiff, robot-like, emotionless, dead, scripted, trite....it was the most awkward thing in the entire convention.
Why she was on stage at all is beyond me, and it's sad that they didn't let Newt be Newt. When he's unfettered, he's good, very good. What a travesty and what waste of Newt's talents their inane skit was.
The worst entertainment bit was Taylor Hick's joke of a "song". For those who were able to abide listening to it, no further elucidation is necessary.

Oh? Thanks for the warning. The volume on my TV doesn’t seem to work whenever Juan appears. It’s a curious thing, so please monitor him for me.
Very late post, as I was so enthralled by Romney’s speech, I forgot to get on the puter! I was clapping and cheering and “hell yeahing” throughout! GREAT speech!
But I trust you're keeping the Snark Tank clean for those special occasions ;)
Hey guys! I haven't been around much either, school gets out late and FR is just sort of....different lately. I occasionally lurk. I don't know if I will be back for AI next season, but I think I say that every season. LOL
I thought Rubio was fantastic. I'd never heard him speak before. Dr. Rice and Gov. Martinez were also great. Paul Ryan was occasionally a little corny or forced, but when he got into the meat of his speech, he was awesome. Love him. Anyway, I hope you guys are all having a great summers!
