Obama Allegedly 'Robosigns' Killed In Action Letters For SEALs' Families

Parents of the 17 SEALs killed in action when a Chinook went down more than a year ago just received their "letters" from Obama, each and every one of them is supposedly bearing an electronic signature.
A certified handwriting specialist has not confirmed whether the signatures are that of a computer, or a human, but they look pretty close to identical. Certainly, the president of the most powerful nation on the planet is a busy guy, but if he is robosigning KIA letters for families, it is inexcusable.
Now, it's mostly Right-Wing websites hocking this story to anyone who will listen, and the practice certainly is disgraceful, but the fact remains the procedure isn't a marked step down from the Bush's practice.
President Bush sent stock letters to every fallen servicemember's family, the only difference being he used a sharpie to sign every one by hand.
From The Daily Beast:
Maggie Caldwell of Massachusetts was still a newlywed when a mine exploded under the Humvee of her husband, Todd, in Iraq. A few weeks later, she received Bush's letter. "Something a little more personal would have been nice," she says. Maggie is not running for office or writing a snarky column, she just wants to know that her nation appreciates what Todd--and she--have sacrificed.
Regardless the practice of producing letters for our dead as if it were an assembly line and not an individual, with individual merit, and individual loved ones, shows that behind closed doors, the government regards the military as a tool, rather than an organization of honorable men and women.

OBAMA has GOT TO GO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
He has plenty of time to play more golf than any other sitting president, time to take lavish vacations on the taxpayer dime, time to play basketball with NBA players, time to screw around with celebrities ...
but, he apparently doesn’t have 5 seconds to sign a paper to the parents of dedicated patriots who made the ultimate sacrifice for our country.
He’s an embarassment to his office.
Too much hand-writing might crimp Soetoro’s golf swing...
Why would the word “allegedly” EVER be used in a news article title?
If it’s still “alleged”, it should be confirmed before moving on further.
He only cares about the military when he can use them as props for his campaign.
Yet I bet he fulfills autograph requests at donor parties
He is too busy golfing, welcoming athletes to the White House, begging Hollywood stars for campaign cash etc. to convey condolences to the bereaved families of our fallen soldiers.
He is beneath contempt and unworthy of his office.
Are you kidding me?!
Is this a practice that is new? I sure that in the past, like WW2, a president simply could not sign letters like this, but we aren’t talking about 2000 causalities a day here.
I bet he personally signs them for the families of terrorists.
Dear Friend in Allah,
I was sorry to hear about the death of our martyred brother Akbar. He died a good death removing infidels from this world. I congratulate you and I’m sending you $25,000 so you can carry on his cause. Down with infidels!
Your Brother in Allah
Barry Barack Hussein Soetoro Obama S/
And kind old King George
Sent Mother a note
When he heard that father was gone.
It was, I recall,
In the form of a scroll,
With gold leaf and all.
And I found it one day
In a drawer of old photographs, hidden away.
And my eyes still grow damp to remember
His Majesty signed
With his own rubber stamp.
No surprise here, a fake signature from a fake man
"We extend our heartfelt condolences at this difficult time. He will be remembered for his infectious optimism and many contributions to American music. Please know that you and your family will be in our thoughts and prayers," read the Obama note.
It is no surprise the signature is not authentic.Nothing about this President has been authentic. This nation owes them and their families so much more then a rubber stamp!
The only thing worse than a Robot President is a Puppet President and I fear we have both.
Warfare is much different now than it was in WW2. Alot fewer people are killed...thanks in part to our willingness to invest heavily in protective equipment.
George Bush personally wrote over 4,000 letters to families of fallen service members.
I don’t know how many, but he met with alot of them. Often, when he would travel the country to make a speech, etc., he would set aside a private room, to meet with the families.
So, it is physically possible, to at least ‘sign’ the condolence letter, instead of using an autopen.
I am certain that Abraham Lincoln did not ‘robo-sign’ this letter...
God Bless our troops and their families.

On Nov. 21, 1864 , President Abraham Lincoln wrote an unforgettable letter to a grieving mother he had been informed had lost five lost sons fighting to defend the Union and preserve our way of life:
To Mrs. Bixby, Boston Mass.
Dear Madam,
I have been shown in the files of the War Department a statement of the Adjutant general of Massachusetts that you are the mother of five sons who have died gloriously on the field of battle.
I feel how weak and fruitless must be any word of mine which should attempt to beguile you from the grief of a loss so overwhelming.
But I cannot refrain from tendering you the consolation that may be found in the thanks of the republic they died to save. I pray that our heavenly Father may assuage the anguish of your bereavement, and leave you only the cherished memory of the loved and lost, and the solemn pride that must be yours to have laid so costly a sacrifice upon the altar of freedom.
Yours very sincerely and respectfully,
A. Lincoln
If he skipped just one round of golf, he would have the time to write a personal letter and sign it himself.
These brave men gave their lives; the least the Kenyan could do is give up a golf game.
An intern on vacation from college hits “print” and runs them through the machine. I’d guess Obama didn’t even know these were sent, and he certainly didn’t read them or care.
