It's going OK here in Oklahoma. Nothing out of the ordinary since the McAfee fiasco last weekend.

Keeping our friends in Louisiana in our thoughts and prayers as they deal with Isaac. Here in Oklahoma it's just a plain weather day with sunshine and forecast to be in the low 90's.

I didn’t get to listen to RNC speeches but will try to read up on them during lunch.

Bossman is out for the rest of the week, and the secretary/admin gals are out supporting a conference. So I expect I’ll be busier than usual when everybody and his brother comes looking for them.

It's time for a life change, Beachie. Momma is moving back down here to further her employment and relationship goals, and the Flyboy is coming home as soon as his lease is up...about 2 months from now.

We're thrilled and chilled at the same time; but we know the new beau and he should be okay. Time will tell how it all works out.

Momma moving back means more Cutie-Patootie, right?

I know how you feel. I have two sons and each have a child by a woman who gave them some troubles at the beginning of their separation. They finally learned that getting along was best for the child.

He’s going to move in with us until he can find a good job and get an apartment. I’m looking at that being a couple of months, Nana thinks it may be longer.

It will definitely mean more Cutie-Patootie time! The city has a year-round indoor pool and Piper loves to swim. We will also do some camping and fishing, which she loves as well.

So far, the kids have handled this well. Piper went nearly a whole school year before her teachers figured out her parents had divorced; and then it was because she was told and not because Piper was adversely affected. God Bless ‘em, the two of them got that part figured out right.

Dear FRiends -

A little bad news. I was standing between my dresser and bed last night just before going to bed when my leg gave way and I fell. I just got back from the ER - X-ray shows a broken ankle with decalcification of the bone. I see the Orthopedist tomorrow morning - I suspect surgery is in the offing.
