So many of those reporters haven’t met a camera they didn’t like....they look so foolish. One would think they’d get a clue.

YOU SHOULD VISIT THE STATUE OF LIBERTY!
Lady Liberty!
Lady Liberty has greeted countless of our immigrants, and countless of our returning soldiers, sailors, and airmen over the years.
Not like the brazen giant of Greek fame, With conquering limbs astride from land to land; Here at our sea-washed, sunset gates shall stand A mighty woman with a torch, whose flame Is the imprisoned lightning, and her name Mother of Exiles. From her beacon-hand Glows world-wide welcome; her mild eyes command The air-bridged harbor that twin cities frame. "Keep, ancient lands, your storied pomp!" cries she With silent lips. "Give me your tired, your poor, Your huddled masses yearning to breathe free, The wretched refuse of your teeming shore. Send these, the homeless, tempest-tossed to me, I lift my lamp beside the golden door!."
I say the same now as I said a half-century ago: Let those who want to join our American Nation enter Let them put their blood into the Melting Pot into which all of us have given our blood, both in the bed and on the battlefield.
Let them enter legally, as my ancestors entered over two centuries ago!!
E Pluribus Unam!

You Should Visit the Taj Mahal |
You're very kind, gentle, and empathetic. You can't help but feel whatever others are feeling. You find it easy to give to others selflessly. It makes you happy to make others happy.
You don't try to understand the world around you... it just comes naturally. You have a vivid imagination, and it's so deep that it's hard to express with words. |
I've already visited it. It's beautiful! I'll never forget the Taj Mahal.
And I visited it with my wife.

Until You Are Full
August 28, 2012
A friend who lives in Singapore told me about an old Chinese greeting. Instead of How are you? people would ask Have you eaten until you are full? The greeting likely originated during a time when food was scarce and many people did not know when they would have their next meal. When food was available, it was advisable to eat until they were full.
After Jesus miraculously fed 5,000 people with five loaves and two small fish (John 6:1-13), the crowd followed Him wanting more (vv.24-26). The Lord told them not to work for physical food that spoils, but for the food which endures to everlasting life, which the Son of Man will give you . . . . I am the bread of life. He who comes to Me shall never hunger, and he who believes in Me shall never thirst (vv.27,35).
As followers of Jesus, we should help those who lack adequate physical nutrition. And with all, we can share the good news that our hunger for inner peace, forgiveness, and hope can be satisfied by knowing Christ the Lord.
Jesus Christ, the bread of life, invites us to come to Him for His feast for the soul, urging us to eat until we are full.
Thank You, Jesus, that You call out to those
who are weary and thirsty and say, Come to Me
and be filled. We are hungry and are thankful
that You satisfy us. Amen.
There is a longing in every heart that only Jesus can satisfy.

You Should Visit the Statue of Liberty |
Bold and adventure loving, life is one big party for you. And you celebrate early and often. Happy and upbeat, you are always optimistic. It's about what you have... not about what you don't.
When times get tough, you get philosophical. You never forget the meaning of life. You tend to avoid commitments, preferring to keep your life free from responsibilities. |
