Can somebody explain to me why the active duty military is training civilian police from around the nation to work WITH them in combined operations? Anybody ever heard of the Posse Comitatus Act? I understand the military using role-players to practice working with FOREIGN police. And I understand civilian police getting SWAT training. But why are the Marines practicing WITH police to conduct combined ops, here in America? Are we still the USA, or the USSA? When did this happen?

"I think it's always good when you get an opportunity to work on some similar tactics and procedures so that everybody's kind of operating on the same page. That way when you bring teams together from active duty and the civilian side, it makes the integration a whole lot smoother."

What "INTEGRATION?" What the hell is going on in America? Is it related to the billion hollowpoint bullets the DHS is buying?

"Phase two will focus on sniper and designated marksmanship training."

Oh, joy! Welcome to the USSA, comrades!

The White House (Moslem Caliphate) has ordered
the hollow point bullets to murder Americans who
are loyal to the Constitution over the Caliphate.

What is I&I, as in “Brian Dye, Operations Chief of I&I”?

Good find.

The Marine Corps was never subject tp Posse Comitatus. They are a naval force subject to Admiralty jurisdiction ... since 10 November, 1775.

Posse Comitatus applies only to the Army, not the Navy (and by extension, the Marines).

Supposedly, the Navy and Marines are in practice included in Posse Comitatus by DOD Regulation.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Posse_Comitatus_Act

I’m not taking any comfort from the fact that this doesn’t sound like a Posse Comitatus violation.

The LAPD SWAT trained the Marines out in California all the time. The reason; LAPD had more urban combat experience. One reason the Marines went back to the 1911 .45 was the LAPD SWAT used it. This has been going on for some time.

The megalomaniacal goons in the Zero admin would be well to remember Mogadishu.

On January 20th, with no elections, the office of President becomes vacant. That’s less than 5 months from today. Any federal official executing the orders of Barack Hussein Obama from that day forward will be engaging in an acts of terrorism, treason, sedition, and open war against the United States of America.

At that point all your legal protections will be gone. Then it’s open season.

Surely the Marines will not attack the citizens by order of the Pretender.

Yet, there is this odd bit of news out there:

worth a read. Not a blog. Something is up.

I understand the military using role-players to practice working with FOREIGN police. And I understand civilian police getting SWAT training. But why are the Marines practicing WITH police to conduct combined ops, here in America? Are we still the USA, or the USSA? When did this happen?

1. Ever stop to wonder who is training security forces (ie police) in places like, oh I dunno Iraq and Afghanistan?

2. Ever wonder if it is MPs learning from their civilian counterparts to respond to situations that happen on military installations/deployed areas?

3. Did you look up "I&I" to discover it is Inspector/Instructor (active duty staff at a reserve station), or the USMC Reserve Unit (couldn't possibly be MILITARY POLICE Company A, Lexington, KY) in KY to see what it was?

4. Reservists train 1 weekend a month and 2 weeks a year....ergo, the best people to learn from would be, perhaps PEOPLE (police) THAT DO IT EVERY DAY.

5. Yes, INTEGRATION. If you line everyone up in the same stack, you have the subject matter experts (civ police) right there to assist with the tactics; vice having an all police stack as a demonstration and an all Marine stack doing trial by error.

I'm guessing you answered "NO" to all of the above and just knee-jerked.

Good Lord......everything is not some conspiracy to kill the civilian populace. Find a sponsor and drive through Camp Lejeune; I promise (as in I see it every day), it's nothing but Gadsden Flags and NOBAMA stickers.

Anyhow, if you want Marines to deploy to the Afghan two-way rifle range without proper training, why don't you just go over there instead with whatever lack of know-how you have?

When I was a little boy, too young to read we lived in Panama City. I recall seeing a picture in the Panama City News Herald which showed soldiers in the streets burning tables etc.

I asked my Mother what it was and she said it was “marshall law in Phenix City, Alabama.” Around 20 years later I was working in South Alabama with some of the Federal agents who used to work in Phenix City. They had some great war storied to tell.

Of course Phenix City was taken over by National Guard under the Governor who ordered the martial law.

Buddy, MOUT is so trendy and stylish—especially when civilians dressed like commandos (as seen on TV) are doing it with those tacticool and very short weapons that can spit 5.56 mm projectiles. Brilliant.

[Little humor there.]

And there are those that call US CRAZY??? Yeah, I think not. As my old tagline was, I’ll put it back.

The “Path to 9-11” movie sets the stage for this nonsense. But Perot’s battle with the GOP establishment is the inevitable precursor to the negligent administration it installed.

It’s amazing how the GOP-establishment is somehow involved in the ongoing adversity the Country is suffering.

If we were expecting a military invasion, I think we could see some need for this. If we’re not, I see no reason for it whatsoever.

There’s a move in this nation to transition the police and federal law enforcement into some sort of full blown military service.

The obvious lessons from the past are completely lost on these bastards.

Shades of Crystal Nacht are entirely possible in the place we’re headed. All some group, any group has to do, is be labeled as terrorist [ tea party members for example ], and a nation wide effort for internal security forces to round them up could easily go forth.

This from a group that couldn’t lift one finger to stop our nation from being occupied by tens of millions of foreign nationals.

There’s a new show on NBC that has slipped in a few swat and other police officers into a group of ex-military, in order to earn donations for veteran type support operations. The officers may be obtaining donations for police type support groups.

The point is, I don’t want the police being seen in the same light as our troops who fight on foreign soil.

We are the targets of the police. The Taliban are the targets of our troops on foreign soil. Is there a difference? I should certainly hope so.

The blurring of these lines is VERY problematic IMO.

If folks would like to learn more about the NBC show, here is a link. The fact that Westly Clark is the ex military person co-hosting the show, should make some folks blood boil.

Unless I’m mistaken, the Posse Comitatus act was allowed to expire. I think during Bush’s presidency.
