CAMP LEJEUNE, N.C. - Training at Camp Lejeune Thursday looked and felt real -- and that was the point. Law officers and marines from across the country ended their training with a bang.
Thursday was the final day of exercises for law enforcement and marines who have gone through special reaction team training at Camp Lejeune for the past three weeks. In the final exercise, teams were presented with a series of real life scenarios as well as hands on instruction to handle them correctly.
Brian Dye, Operations Chief of I&I in Lexington, Kentucky says training civilians as a blended force with Marine Corps personnel eases the transition into a real world scenario.
"I think it's always good when you get an opportunity to work on some similar tactics and procedures so that everybody's kind of operating on the same page. That way when you bring teams together from active duty and the civilian side, it makes the integration a whole lot smoother."
The tactics trainees take away from this course just may help save lives. This three week SRT training course is phase one for law enforcement and Marine Corps personnel. Phase two will focus on sniper and designated marksmanship training.
Well, at least you get it. Thanks.
Timothy McVeigh and Adolf Hitler were also bona-fide military combat heros who saw plenty of death.
That did not give them a free pass for the rest of their lives.
Trust of newbies on this forum becomes especially of concern considering the use of military and civilians in federal fusion centers as internet imposters.
Yep, the WWW is just another “battle space” to these Statist boot lickers.
The American police are not training our military in this situation for foreign ops.
The American military is training dozens of local PDs to INTEGRATE WITH THEM on “Special Reaction Teams” on ops IN AMERICA.
Watch the video, read the transcript.
More and more of the flag ranks are on board with the PC bullshit. Witness the top Marine in A-stan, feeding the BS PC line about the “green on blue” incidents being a result of Ramadan hunger and such nonsense.
When the top Marine brass is on board with sanitzing the jihad, and sacrificing their troops for asinine but PC policies, you know the rot has gone very deep.
The Marine brass also got “out in front” to embrace homosexuals in the ranks, as soon as it became policy.
My respect for the men with the stars is at zero.
Thats actually a good point...But Reagan placed the military air controllers in a non-law-enforcement role...
In my opinion that was a good move...Tillwe could get a civilian contingent in place...
But with all this “integration” of forces...I would have to ask the blunt and direct question...
“For what?”
And sit back and enjoy the BS that we all know will follow, if they try to answer that question...
What are they afraid of???
Which we already know tha answer to that as well...
“federal fusion centers as internet imposters.”
The several I know of directly recruit the military and I am finding the military is easily accepting of their propaganda roles. I was just at a conference where a recruiter was after current military near their DEROS date and “would like to contribute to the social safety” of the US. “Social safety” is the term used to mean, my words, “propagandist used to manipulate the posters on the Internet”.
We don’t have so many domestic terrorists that we need to spend billions on domestic spying. Those that were involved in 9/11 were all let in, ignored, and practically allowed to do the things they did weven when various spying techniques knew they were up to no good, yet, they were still allowed to stay. 9/11 isnt about the need for more spying, it is about the need for better conlusive actions once we know who is up to something.
“I’m not from Gen Y”
Then stop acting like it.
It’s getting hard to separate the paid internet imposters, from the garden-variety dupes.
I suppose that’s the point.
“And if you were so great at solving the world’s problems I guess we still wouldn’t have those same problems as Iraq and Afghanistan were problems well before I stepped on the scene”
Really? You’re dumb enough to believe bad guys go away and never return, that there are no other bad guys once one bad guy has been taken care of? Again, stop acting like a stupid Gen Y type. That level of naiveté is simply retarded.
When the idiots can’t even read that the article says the training is for joint domestic operations I can’t help but to think the person must be a paid manipulator as no one is that stupid as to say this isn’t about joint domestic operations, but then I have to remember that liberals, especially the Gen Y liberals, really are that stupid.
That is why it's alternate name is "The War Between the States"
You had the Regiments of National Guard of the 20th Maine, 69th New York etc, fighting against the 3rd Arkansas and the 58th Alabama.
Those Units were called up and created by the states, granted to serve in the Federal/Confederate Army, but they were state creations none the less.
Also once the war was over those units were disbanded, we had essentially had an Army of Citizen Soldiers, not full time professionals.
The Same System was used for the Spanish-American War in 1898, States forming Military units to be banded together under the Federal Flag.
The REAL nail in that system came with the The Militia Act of 1903 (A Progressive Idea by the way) It was the Federal Government increasing its power at the expense of the States and sticking its nose where it didn't belong.
Thanks for the entertaining thread ping.
When Hitler and Chamberlain met prior to WWII, they discovered they had been exactly opposite each other in one of the WWI battles.
They discussed the battle at length and imo developed a certain camaraderie.
Hitler probably took advantage of Chamberlain because of it but I doubt he was totally being phony as he really did admire the English.
Can somebody explain to me why the active duty military is training civilian police from around the nation to work WITH them in combined operations?

Hey, it worked so well in Iraq and Afghanistan, it’s ready for Oakland and San Jose?
Red Dune Rising
There are still plenty of willing dupes who snap to attention anytime the chain of command is invoked, for any reason, by anybody, as long as the ones giving the new orders are in uniform and outrank them.
That is as far as their thinking goes.
Some of today’s Marines would probably slow-dance with other Marines in a mandatory homosexual sensitivity training session, if they were told to.
Six Nines of Compliance: 99.9999% would.
Your #152: Totally agree.
Turn about is fair play. Double-click to enlarge, and check out those targets!
Now that was funny.
