New Orleans, Louisiana: New Orleans on Tuesday braced for another hurricane as a strengthening Tropical Storm Isaac drew near, seven years after Hurricane Katrina left 1,800 dead in the fabled jazz city.

Yes, it’ll rain.
During Katrina, Government levies failed because government was involved.
Today this “Hurricane Isaac” is mainly just more media and government hype.
Don't forget the beer...
Just heard Obama give a speech signing a declaration in regards to the hurricane.
The “media” is working hard to keep the GOP convention out of the news. Isaac will be all over the place until the convention ends. What a pain in the ass. Next week, the communist convention in Charlotte will be all the rage.
How can those heartless Republicans possible stay dry and enjoy patting each other on the back giving speeches when so many people will be suffering on the gulf coast? /s
America’s second black hurricane.
Good point.
I’m here in New Orleans and I know this is more bs, same as with the BP oil spill which was no disaster.
It’s a distraction from the Republican convention, and the way things are going right now, that isn’t such a bad thing. Let the RINOs and Paulians fight it out while everyone is distracted by a rainstorm.
The media got the GOP to cancel 1 day of the convention already.
And what happened with the hurricane “threat” in Tampa. Nothing.
You are right the media will try to find any little thing and blow it up to distract attention from the GOP convention.
That Marxist POS Obama can go to hell with it’s Amnesty giving dictatorial decrees.
Im here in New Orleans and I know this is more bs, same as with the BP oil spill which was no disaster.
The Media will proclaim Obama as the Savior of New Orleans.
Ready for the same-ol' same-ol'?
Is Isaac just a Hurricane? I had thought it advanced to a 300-mile F5 Tornado.
With Katrina, 3 of my cousins living in New Orleans left when ordered out. Their homes were destroyed. They eventually rebuilt.
With Isaac, they are staying put.
....Or so in their minds.
Do not be surprised if they will show while there are speeches giving at the GOP convention, they show a little picture of the Gulf or NOLA when the rain comes.
A friend of ours has a son who lives down there. He won’t leave because he knows his house will be looted. He’s got two rooms full of amps, guitars etc.
Down here, we are praying that is all it does. Experience has taught us that all bets are off until the wind stops blowing. There have been a few that started soft, then bounced back into the Gulf and came back harder, then did it again. If you ain't in it, please don't mock it.
