At 2:00 p.m. today in Tampa, the Republican National Committee, led by Team Romney, is moving to shut down conservative grassroots activists. Ive been on the phone with several individuals involved in the fight who tell me that the fight is not over, it is only just starting.
Specifically, the media is reporting that the rules fight is over because Team Romney is abandoning Ben Ginsbergs effort to allow candidates to control delegates. Under an initial proposal, delegates would, in effect, be chosen by the presumed nominees campaign and not based on votes in the states and delegate selection processes in the states.
That issue appears resolved, but several people Ive spoken to this morning make clear that Team Romney and the RNC establishment are using that compromise as a red herring to distract from two major rules change proposals that would decimate Republican grassroots and prevent upstart political campaigns.
Reports that the floor fight threat is over might be designed to calm the grassroots and get them to ignore what is coming at 2 oclock.
The first rule to be proposed is one that would give the Republican National Committee the power to change rules between conventions with a three-quarters vote of the RNC. One source tells me, With a Republican President, of course this is doable. Everybody will roll over if a President Romney asks them too. Theyll be able to get Ben Ginsbergs proposal next year.
In other words, if Team Romney prevails in this rules change, they dont have to worry about Ben Ginsberg not getting his way today on the delegate changes. Theyll be able to do it later when the press and grassroots are not watching.
The second rules change would front load winner takes all primaries.

LOL. I’ll wager, I make more typos, because I don’t proof read!
Interesting there’s nothing on google, but they’re all in for the Marxist, so google isn’t beneath hiding something insidious.
Sarah will be on live with Mark Levin at 6:30 CDST for an interview.

Until Bonny is replaced, NOTHING will improve. Until all the GOP staff are replaced, nothing will improve. Reagan himself could not fight all of DC.
Truth is there are MAYBE 10 good people in Congress. Realistically 5. There is no hope. It’s an ugly thing to say, but it gets worse every election. Fewer people stand for anything and just go along.
Now it’s time to pay the piper. And there’s no one left with money for the tab.
radu can vouch for Boehner’s action!
Unreal Laz.
LLS
Exactly!!
Ron Paul was no real threat to Romney securing the nomination today. Besides Paul is not running next year and these rules were about future nominating rules.
Boehner was way out of line and the very first thing we need to do is call for his immediate ouster! I’ve had enough of his schitck.
I will not live under tyranny or communism. How about you my brother?

I am still just horrified at what we just witnessed awhile ago. Pure tyranny from the establishment.
“Freedom... we don’t need no stinkin’ Freedom”
Me neither.
May I borrow that for my tagline?

Ill ask you the same question, do you have a space ship arriving, or are you just going to hunker down in your bunker and wait for the end?

I will stand and watch people like you die by the millimeter, from the inside out.
The Geriatric Old Plotters and their stump broke minions are going to the ones who end up in the ash heap of history.
We need men and women of honor to speak truth to evil and Tampa is full of evildoers.

No one gets to be a by-stander. You have to choose, if you refuse to stand up to the evil of Obama, you are with him. If you aren’t part of the solution, you are part of the problem. No by-standers.
Amen!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
LLS
You certainly may. It is about the only way those dead innocents will be remembered as the paymaster for their deaths is elevated to new heights.
Speaking of the loser speaker...he is up now. I missed it listening to Levin.
BS. Anyone who believes this was not about Ron Paul and the Paulbots is deluding themselves. Ron Paul should be not quietly shown the door but booted out with a vengeance. The young fools cheer-leading him will eventually grow up and read what he really thinks and like me get scared $hi#^less that he even got one delegate.
The major downside of democratic centralism as an idea, is of course, that you have to go along with the majority, even if you’re deeply opposed to the idea for whatever reasons.
An example (and I’m using a rather off-the-wall one): Let’s say that in the near future, the GOP suddenly decides, by majority vote, that not only is same-sex marriage the greatest thing in all recorded history, but that indeed, it shall be made compulsory throughout the Republican Party.
Now, of course as I said, I’m using an off-the-wall example, but this is democratic centralism’s greatest flaw; you HAVE to go along with it.....simply put, it’s a form of totalitarianism. Of course, being the USA, one can just leave the GOP and go find or create a political party that better represents one’s views. But I don’t like even the appearance of such of a notion; it smacks of dictatorship, even if it is strictly a party matter.
