Not only did he back Obama, he backed Nelson, and he's now getting speaking spot at the DNC.
Can we say political opportunist? Whatever the way the wind blows, suddenly he's backing every democrat and jumping through every Democrat hoop he can find. My guess is the Dems are happy, but I don't know why. People really don't like this kind of pandering - that's one of the reasons Crist lost so handily to both Republicans AND Democrats this last election.
Guess he's tired of just being a lawyer.

Perhaps this is to mirror Artur Davis, former Democrat, speaking at the RNC?

Most people learn the falacy and error of socialism as they mature. Poor Crist has regressed and now is the picture of a fool. No foundation, no character, no convictions, he comes into whatever pool of idiocy he can to find a place at the table. Now he is sitting with pigs.

He realizes that he has no future in Republican politics after running as an Independent against Rubio, and so he’s now trying to make a new career in Rat politics by publicly kissing Obama’s arse.

That’s okay, I will gladly trade his speech for Artur Davis...former Co-Chair of the DNC and guy who seconded Obama’s nomination in 2008 speech at the Republican convention. Crist was always a traitor...

Makes one wonder where the Republican primary voters ever found Crist in the first place and how they were so easily fooled. I guess his predecessor Jebbie won’t be accompanying Crist to Charlotte.

I’m sure John Cornyn and Mitch McConnell will be watching. They loved Crist and wanted him to be a republican colleague. Fools! These wolves in the fold have been smoked out!
