As a long-time advocate for animal rights, Natalie Portman is no stranger to political causes.
But it was her interest in women's rights that drew her to Nevada tonight, to rally support for President Obama's re-election campaign.
The Black Swan actress stepped up to the podium to address the America-Nevada Women Vote 2012 Summit, the first rally in what is being billed as the 'Romney-Ryan Wrong for Women' Tour.

A free, liberated woman buys her own contraceptives. A victim of an oppressive patriarchy relies on Uncle Sam to gift them to her.
How can people be so stupid as to not understand this?

She is an animal rights activist. She and her ilk rut like animals and wants the government to subsidize that.
Seems fitting.

Interesting pic. She’s only 31 and she looks 45. Not going to age well. Liberalism rots you from the inside.
Playing for the long haul. She knows that even if the Bamster gets the boot, these bastards will be back in 4 years....and the party continues.

And what is particularly ironic about this airhead is that she holds dual citizenship, having been born in Israel. She claims to love Israel, yet she endorses an American president who has shown total disdain for it, preferring to align himself with anti-semites around the world.

Not uncommon that actors turn to politics when the wrinkles show up and the acting roles don't.
I dunno if she's trying to generate some publicity for her acting career or launching a new one (politics). I hope neither one works for her...

She doesn’t get it. Remember Equal Rights? No one bought Betty Friedman, Gloria Steinem and Helen Girly Brown were not promoting women. Whether they knew it or not; they were promoting second class citizenship for women. For them it was money first and maybe following orders from communists or whoever.
We women can stand on our two feet and we can speak for ourselves.

Wasn’t the partially clad little wench, blowing up muzzies in the desert, in some flick, a decade or two ago?
Has she said she’s sorry yet?

If I recall correctly, she and Jar-Jar supported Senator Palpatine for Emperor until it was too late.

LOL, exactly right. Obama does fit that bill, but McCain really struck home with me on that topic. He was more physically similar to Palpatine.
Obama is the stronger candidate by merit though.
