You are way out of line comparing Todd Akin to a criminal. Do you have a conscience? Does basic human decency go out the window when it comes to politics?
All I mentioned was that Bob Ney had a staunch conservative voting record. Akin's die-hard fans on FR want to post his conservative voting record endlessly and pretend it's the most important thing on the planet, so I simply cited an example of someone else who has a staunch conservative voting record. I didn't claim the two men had similar ethics, conscience,values, etc.
If you have a problem with me posting a link to Bob Ney's voting record, take it up with Akin's fan club. They're the ones who have proclaimed the only thing that matters in an election is whether a politician votes the way we want.
BillyBoy was not comparing Akin to a criminal. He was trying to point out the obvious to those who refuse to see it. While voting record certainly matters, it is not the only thing that matters.
Some of you believe that there is no one qualified to take Akin’s place to fight the pro-life battle. Akin is doing damage in that battle and is apparently too delusional to recognize it. If Akin’s ego got out of the way, another equally pro-life Republican with solid conservative credentials would beat McCasKILL. That is the prize.
The most insulting thing to hear from Akin is - “it’s not about me.” He is a liar. The price this nation may pay because it is about him is very large indeed.
