BillyBoy was not comparing Akin to a criminal. He was trying to point out the obvious to those who refuse to see it. While voting record certainly matters, it is not the only thing that matters.
Some of you believe that there is no one qualified to take Akin’s place to fight the pro-life battle. Akin is doing damage in that battle and is apparently too delusional to recognize it. If Akin’s ego got out of the way, another equally pro-life Republican with solid conservative credentials would beat McCasKILL. That is the prize.
The most insulting thing to hear from Akin is - “it’s not about me.” He is a liar. The price this nation may pay because it is about him is very large indeed.

Are you capable of seeing your own reflection? ABM -- Anything but McCaskill -- right? Or, take a stand for your principles. If you feel so strongly against a staunch conservative like Akin, and live in Missouri, write someone else in. It's your right.

What's delusional is Palin thinking a third party candidate could do anything but split the vote and allow McCaskill to win. So we can all disagree on what we think is delusional. Because people disagree, that's usually why we leave elections up to the voters. The only one that can decide if Akin should withdraw is himself, and he's not doing it. So we need to back him and win the seat.
