This could prevent him from ever getting a weapons permit in some states. They might as well go ahead and strip him of his right to vote. People should have their a$$es handed to them. No punishment is too severe.
There was an article here on FR earlier today about a Texas judge who said we in the US should possibly expect a revolution. Are the feds going to come and take him away too?

My concern is that they start committing guys like this who are kind of on the edge. (Note: I listened to his radio interview and he sounded perfectly normal, in fact more rational than most people. His postings look a little dodgy, though.) Then they escalate to anyone who does not agree with their politics, like Freepers.
What is so ironic is that there are plenty of mentally ill homeless people running around loose in the streets. It was the liberals who insisted on freeing them from institutions. Many of them are dangerous. Some because they are violent, others because they don’t have the sense not to step out into traffic.
I wonder how many thousands have gone through the very same procedure that we don’t hear anything about. The ones that have been secreted away so as to stop any virulent social unrest.
