LOL...I'm looking at the boy's face in that Father & Son picture.
It says the beginning of the course and I'm thinking
that boy is not going to be happy at the finish.

Theodore Roosevelt was the first U.S. president
to ride in an automobile.
The first baby born on the Mayflower
during its voyage to the New World
was named Oceanus Hopkins.
The second child born after the ship set anchor
was named Peregrine White.
Taxi drivers in London, England
are required to pass a training test
based upon "The Blue Book."
Preparation for this test takes between two to four years.
Of ten who start, eight or nine drop out before completion.

But, I'll check pings on my return.
Please stay right where you are.
Keep the troops entertained and the Canteen clean...

Good Morning, all you Canteen Folks!
And it looks like Sarge and the others here are going to “hunker in the Bunker” very shortly, as Tropical Storm Isaac is predicted to sideswipe Florida early next week.
Sarge and The Grrrlz laid in a good supply of fodder for everybody, and the house is in good shape. Now all there is to do is watch the news and FReep.
On other notes, the wedding plans proceed. We got the reception hall, the food, the entertainment, the libations and the gowns/tuxes all done. Now we just need the ceremony itself. Almost all’s ready. The Bride is going for a final fitting tonight; she’s positively forbidden Sarge from seeing the dress before the appointed hour.
More as we get it, so let’s have Fun!
