The Left: An Occupy organizer admitted over the weekend that the goal of his protest group was to "overthrow the capitalist system and build communism." So the cat's out of the bag again on this bunch. Where is the outrage?
The true agenda of the Occupy movement has been revealed — it's a totalitarian one. Billing itself as a spontaneous people's revolution and embraced by the media and Democrat political establishment, Occupy is really a destructive band of thugs whose goal is the violent demise of democracy.
Speaking at a "People's Assembly" in Washington, former Amalgamated Transit Union local 689 president Mike Golash told Occupy members his goal was to "make revolution in the United States, overthrow the capitalist system and build communism."
The Occupy organizer added that he was "trying to learn something from the examples of the Soviet Union, Red China and Castro's Cuba. ... What can we learn from them so we can build a more successful movement to transform capitalist society?" he asked.
This attachment to the miserable failure of communism — an ideology that left 100 million people dead in the 20th century and met its demise as an idea after millions rose up in 1989-90 to repudiate it — is insane.

Anyway, we have already learned from those communists states that if you slaughter enough people in the way of your Utopian fantasies that you can attain the misery of collectivism. But there must be killing, lots of killing first. Would recommend reading up on Stalin and Mao for a primer. ......... oh, and that in itself is a widely shared secular concept known by gamblers and investors (the latter having calculated odds of success greater than 50%). Communists gamble on odds of less than 50% because it catters to greedy, spendy and irresponsible people who waste...... hope and change...
I ran into a self proclaimed ‘highly edcuated economist’ last night. after a bit of back and forth, he labelled himself as a progressive. he then went on about evil rich people and how selfish they are... and how their wealth should be confiscated to help the ‘little guy’. nonstop bs.
the irony that this ‘highly educated economist’ was also dead broke and going check to check totally escaped him... yet I’m supposed to listen to his views on how the country should be run
The cat was out of the bag on this a long time ago - The Communist Party and Socialist Workers Party were some of the organizers for OWS.
Like government enforced work camps, and these young OWS folks will be the first ones forced out into the fields. Their glorious leaders at the top will want to eat.
