#MOSen: moved the race to Likely Democrat. As long as Akin is running, it is unwinnable for Republicans. If he exits, it's back to Toss Up.

Legitimate candidates rarely makes such huge mistakes. Some political expert told me that candidates’ mind somehow prevent them from doing so.

I disagree. The MSM will beat this drum until the election. Every Republican candidate will be asked whether he/she agrees that there are "legitimate" rapes and therefor there is such a thing as an illegitimate rape. They will be asked if they agree with his cracked theory of biology. They will be asked repeatedly about abortion in rape cases.
This will be used to get us completely off message and on the defensive. This is the most important election since 1980 and that moron has to go for the good of the country.

I don’t get this. Why can’t the republican party of Missouri just dump him? He is not the party, he is its representative.

He won the primary. The only way to get him off the ticket is if he voluntarily withdraws.
The only way to get him out would be to run a good candidate on a third party ticket or a write-in campaign, but that would just guaranty McGaskill the seat.

You are way more optimistic than I am.
At this point in time, I think we flip:
NE
ND
MT
WI
I think we lose:
ME
MO (with Akin)
Toss Ups:
MA
FL
VA
Lean Dem:
OH
Likely Dem:
MI
Safe Dem:
All the rest they currently hold.

Barack sh!t!
Sharon Angle and the witch from Delaware would have been better than the twits running the Senate. Even this guy will be better than McCaskill.

Worse, Akin is likely to become the GOP Poster Boy in 2012 the way Mark Foley did in 2006.
What a mess!
To: Inconvenient Truthteller
And now you see why the C-DNC invested so much money in getting him the nomination. I'm sure the theme suggestions from Axelgreasy have already been sent to the media outlets filled with traitorous quisling ‘journalists’.

I predict that as time goes on, people will see things more clearly and Akin will regain the support he needs. I’ll bet most Republicans will reason that a failure to vote is a vote for McCaskill.
Be patient. Trust God.

RINOS side with Democrats way too often, on too many issues, and Senator Scott Brown has disappointed conservatives and will disappoint conservatives, for many years to come, if he continues to be a U.S. Senator. Unfortunately, Elizabeth Warren will be, even, worse than Scott Brown, if she ends up winning. Some choice: A RINO v.s. A Democrat, in the Massachusetts race for ‘12 U.S. Senate and in the race for ‘12 POTUS. :P

“More likely they have dirt on him that theyre threatening to release”
Not corrupt dirt, just enough ‘extremism’ and stupid gaffes of things he’s done to keep Akin unelectable to the Senate. Dems already have a website on it. Akin was working on a ‘forcible rape’ bill, no matter what it was, they can turn that into a 30 second ad that makes him seem favorable to serial killers.
Akin is TOAST.
