President Obama weighed in on the national storm surrounding by Rep. Todd Akin, calling his comments "offensive."
"The views expressed were offensive. Rape is rape," Obama said in a surprise appearance at the White House briefing.
"And the idea that we should be parsing and qualifying and slicing what types of rape we're talking about doesn't make sense to the American people. And certainly doesn't make sense to me," Obama said.

Can Bathhouse Barry explain why Bubba became president for two terms instead of spending his life in prison for repeated sexual assaults / rapes?
So,when making reference to "legitimate rape",my experience suggests that no *all* rape accusations are legitimate.
Planned Parenthood is caught on tape REPEATEDLY telling minors to lie about their sexual assault (minor with an adult) which results in abusers going free to continue their activities with others.
I don’t want to hear BULLSTALIN that PP is against rape. It’s good for business and they aid and abet rapists.
Obama truly is a dumb shit. There are all kinds of rape and the only kind that leads to pregnancy is vaginal rape. But vaginal rape can be forceful or it can be statutory. Akin is no genius but Obama is a dope made out to be some superior intellect.
Umm ... No. In fact there are at least two types of rape - statutory rape and forcible rape.
A wife can sue her husband for rape. If a wife refuses her husband and he forces her into sex, that is rape. If anyone seriously thinks that THIS kind of rape is the same as being raped by a stranger who abducts you from a bus stop, parking lot, or in an office building (or anywhere else), they are NUTS!!!!!

Gotta love this. McCaskill spends tens of thousands of dollars trying to steer the GOP nomination towards Akin - the candidate she has the best chance of beating. And then Obama comes along hammering more nails into his coffin for his own personal political gain. In November, when McCaskill loses to Steelman, she should thank Obama.
Profound.
He's Raping America!!!!
What about the type that feminists “define”: any heterosexual sex.
Or, the “lighter” version, the morning after regret. According to a lot of fems, that should be defined as “rape”.
No, Mr Obama, your ideology has made a practice of undefining words for your own political advantage. You have no ground to stand on to say that a word means something we all agree that it means.
Oh my! That’s what I call IRONY!
Of course ... but if Mr. Akin had any sense, he’d simply have said, “No child deserves death because of his father’s wrong action. Compassionate care to a woman who has been raped does not include abortion.”
The idea that forcible rape doesn’t often result in pregnancy because of the nature of rape seems to be getting some traction as a “truism,” but I don’t see how that could be based on real science. How would they test the hypothesis? “Here are 100 women, all healthy, fertile, and ovulating right now. Here are 100 men, all in good health with average sperm counts. Now, half the men pick a woman to rape, and half have consensual intercourse. How many pregnancies result in each group of women?”

I don’t see the difference, but I guess it says a lot about how you think. Apparently you believe women give up control of their bodies when they get married?
Yeah, that statement was rather absurd.
Pregnancy results from intercourse, whether consensual or not.
I don’t know, because it can’t be tested! (Certainly pregnancy results for me, but for a lot of others, it doesn’t.)
Much of what is claimed to be “scientific fact” about conception and fertility is simply theorizing, because it’s impossible to assemble an experimental population of women with uncompromised fertility and match them with a population of equally healthy, fertile, and virile men in order to test a hypothesis.
“Rape is rape”? No, it’s not.
There’s “Duke” rape, for example, where white men get raped by a lying prostitute and the legal system.
Then there’s “after the fact” rape and its variant, “caught in the act rape”.
That said, I have no idea what “legitimate” rape is/
