Hearing this from several sources.

Needs to be now. No reason he can’t step down this afternoon and get this media firestorm behind everyone.
He needs to take one for the team and step out of the race. What he said was indefensible.
Get someone that can win in there. McCaskill is a sitting duck. We don’t need another Sharon Angle race.

GOOD!
Probably a way of pushing him. Hope it works. however, VERY serious damage has been done. This will be the meme all the way to Nov whether he withdraws or not. They are already all over Ryan.
What Akin has cost us is incalculable.
The runner-up in the primary was John Brunner. (Sarah Steelman finished third.) Then there are two former senators available: Kit Bond and Jim Talent.
He needs to go NOW. Not tomorrow. NOW.
I pray this is true. I hope McCaskill is not preparing another million dollars to convince him to stay in.
Fool! Had a seat in the upper house of congress in the bag and he blew it!
I disagree. If he quickly drops out, this becomes old news quickly.
More proof that the Democrats and the liberal media control the Republican Party.
Actually, there are at least four former senators available: Bond, Talent, John Ashcroft, and John Danforth. Of those, the only one under 70 is Jim Talent.
Thank GOD!!!!
There are bound to be some procedures already in place. It’s not like someone dropping out is unprecedented or unthinkable.
At the least, the procedures in case someone unexpectedly passes away should apply.
Bond or Danforth would be pretty much an automatic win for the GOP, although I doubt they’re interested.
I agree with that
Obama's audio was played, McCaskill's comments repeated but no mention of Romney's statement.
The MO GOP need to give Akin the PUSH he deserves.
