State Rep. Kerry Gauthier won't be charged in an incident involving a 17-year-old boy at a freeway rest stop in Duluth last month, the Duluth News Tribune reported Thursday.
...(snip)...
Democratic House Minority Leader Paul Thissen said in a statement that Gauthier was hospitalized for "an unknown health issue."
...(snip)...
Gauthier was elected in 2010 with 73 percent of the vote. Republican Travis Silvers is challenging him this year, vowing in a campaign video to make "God, family, marriage" a priority.

“Rule of law. What a joke!”
People are getting really sick of being picked on by this government, while its agents are exempt from following the law.
And when those things don't square, they nullify.
What we have now is not so much failure of the jury system, I mean it does happen, but there is a worse problem.
Basically prosecutorial negligence. It’s entirely up to some DA to decide to file charges or not.
He can (and DOES!!) let things slide when it comes to his buds. Or like in Holders case, his home boys.
And it is up to a judge to decide to empower a grand jury, giving him almost entire control of whether charges ever even get to the DA.
Under the original construct of law (common law) in this country, anybody could start a grand jury. I think there is still one or two states where it doesn’t take a judge to start one.
As dumbed down the average American citizen is, I honestly wonder if pleading your case to a judge or a panel of judges is better or worse than appearing before a jury of strangers that really aren't your peers.
Eww, well Duluth, he can’t lose himself. But maybe some of the nasty will rub off on his friend, the retread Rick Nolan.
Faggotry prevails in Minnesota
NO, it certainly does not.
We vote in November on Biblical Marriage
The homosexuals have confused "Minnesota Nice" with acceptance of their lifestyle. Tolerance of their existence does not equal approval of their Sin.
A majority of our fine State feels the same way - please reserve judgment
#17: Good one - “choking to death”.
How about he got his Barney Frank bitten off?
Got something in his eye?
Slipped on a bar of soap?
Forgot to open the bathroom stall door on the way out?
Without solicitation or an age-of-consent issue the DA has to ask if a prosecution on misdemeanor Indecent Conduct be worth the resources when the state lawmaker's arrest and reasons thereof will be news everywhere?
It seems unlikely the lawmaker's case was treated differently than any other similar case.
Add John Corsine not going to be charged with his financial misdeeds and then lying under oath about it.
“If you are a lender and you dont use due diligence and vet your borrowers, then you are just as responsible.”
Not if Federal law, rules and regulations forbid you from using due diligence or vetting your borrowers before making the loans.
This is more than a koinkydink.
His opponent needs to be running ads on this.
Something he swallowed disagreed with him.
Looks like he could suck the chrome off a trailer hitch.
He’s just a magnanimous Democrat helping a poor kid out. It’s part of his BUY A BOY A BLOWJOB PROGRAM. Barney Frank co-sponsored the bill.
Or perhaps suck start a 18 wheeler

That was my first thought...a fagula.
Or as they say in Massachusetts, “Provincetown Chowdah.”
