Sarah Palin told Obama to dump Joe Biden yesterday.
Barack Obama defended Joe Biden yesterday for his outrageous racial remarks. He also told reporters that he will keep Joe on the ticket despite calls (from Sarah Palin) to dump him. FOX News reported, via Free Republic:
President Obama defended Vice President Joe Biden on Wednesday against criticism of his remarks that Republican repeal of Wall Street regulations would put voters “back in chains.”
Obama also brushed off Sarah Palin’s suggestion on Fox News that he drop Biden from the ticket in favor of Secretary of State Hillary Clinton.
Palin, the 2008 GOP vice presidential nominee and a Fox News contributor, had said Biden’s comments are the latest example of how he “really drags down that ticket.”
“If that’s not the nail in the coffin, really, the strategists there in the Obama campaign have got to look at a diplomatic way of replacing Joe Biden on the ticket with Hillary,” Palin said. “And I don’t want to throw out that suggestion and have them actually accept the suggestion because then an Obama-Hillary Clinton ticket would have a darn good chance of winning.”
But Obama, in an interview with “Entertainment Tonight,” downplayed Palin’s comments.
“We don’t spend a lot of time worrying about the chatter and the noise and this and that,” he said. “The country isn’t as divided with gaffes or some stray remark as Washington is. Most folks know that’s just sort of a WWF wrestling part of politics. It doesn’t mean anything, just fills up a lot of air time.”
He also said in an interview with People magazine that Biden’s remarks meant consumers would be worse off if Republicans succeeded in doing away with new restraints on financial institutions.
“If I was Romney I’d be talking about the retard constantly. “He’s only a heartbeat away! A heartbeat away! You think Obama is bad?””
I totally agree. Every RNC commercial should be about something financially broken with our system and Biden as Senate President hasn’t done crap. Use his quotes in the ad. Heck, we can say Biden kills puppies and use his quote about chaining them up.
Right, “O” is such a moron that he let himself be publicly tricked in the most ridiculous way.
Once again, his stupidity is showing.
Right, NO RNC ad should show “O” by himself ... not under any circumstances.

If slow Joe gets dumped today (see Drudge) it will look really true.
First there is the Torricelli Maneuver, where an embarrassing Democrat can be replaced on the ballot in violation of election laws. Second, since the Electoral College does the actual voting it doesn't matter who is on the ballot. If Slow Joe is replaced in October and there isn't time to change the ballots, Obama can still run with someone else and let the Dem electors vote for the new VP candidate. Even states with laws requiring electors vote for who they were told to vote for might not apply if the candidate is no longer running and they would only be able to apply punishments after the fact anyway.
Unless Joe has an “accident” in the next couple of months...
My guess is that obama asked hillary and she said no way.

They could nominate anyone more competent than “O”-which could be a very long list.
Of course that means some VERY irregular and nefarious dealings must be underway RIGHT NOW, either with or without the Clintons.

Thing is.. When I look at plugs I don’t see the amount of evil I see in Obama. Plugs would suck as president, there is no doubt about that. But I don’t think he’d be as bad as Zero. He’s not smart enough. He’d be even worse than Obama off prompter or on..
If I had to chose between Zero or Plugs. I’d take plugs.
