Biden: 'Where's it Written We Cannot Lead the World in the 20th Century in Making Automobiles?'
The Weekly Standard ^ | 08/15/12

Posted on 08/15/2012 12:28:31 PM PDT by MissesBush

MY COMMENT: Yesterday, the addled old clown didn't know he was in Virginia...today he doesn't know we're in the 21st century. And these DemoCrites called Palin dumb?

VIDEO AT THE LINK

'Folks, where's it written we cannot lead the world in the 20th century in making automobiles?," said Biden.

UPDATE: Ryan Williams, a spokesman for the Romney campaign, responds: “Mitt Romney and Paul Ryan will ensure America leads the world in the 21st century by strengthening middle-class families and creating jobs. President Obama and Vice President Biden have taken our nation backward with failed policies that have resulted in higher unemployment, more debt, and a weaker economy. A campaign based on rage and divisiveness can’t hide the president’s failed record

I don’t usually watch debates, but a Ryan/Biden debate should be fun. Ryan will mop the floor with Biden.

Just have to remember to buy popcorn for the event

I am CONVINCED that they’re making the case for his exit. He’s gotten progressively worse, and the media seems to be covering anything he says in a way to push Obama to change his VP choice.

Somewhere in the history books is my guess.

I think he is a wonderful human being and an asset to the Democrat Ticket. He brings gravitas to the ticket that lightweight Obama just does not have. He also brings the kind of experience that Clinton cannot provide.

If this had been Dan Quayle or Sarah Palin, it would be front page, above-the-fold news. With Biden, well lets just say its par-for-the-course, dog-bites-man kind of news

"I don’t usually watch debates, but a Ryan/Biden debate should be fun."

Did you notice that the VP debate moderator is Martha Raddatz, the "chief foreign affairs correspondent" for ABC? They're desperately trying to keep Crazy Joe away from the economy and on foreign affairs, his supposed strong suit. Ryan would wipe the floor with him on the economy.

Can't figure out why the Romney campaign agreed to have her as moderator.

Actually, it probably IS in Obamacare somewhere. It’s just that nobody’s read that far yet.

My suspicions, and welcome to them.

I suspect that Biden is intentionally screwing up, as part of a larger plan for a (FAKED) graceful exit from the VPOTUS office.

I suspect that Mister Biden just might FAKE an illness, and then Obama could FAKE a reason to nicely jettison him from the ticket.

Next, watch for the Dems to FAKE being "worried" about Biden, then the real fakery would begin. (Remember my FRiends, the Dems just can't be honest about anything.)

Curious about why Hillary Rodham announced her retirement from politics last Spring? Wondering why so many "puff" images of Hillary in the media lately? By my reconing, that's when this little plan was hatched.

Watch for Mister Obama to FAKE a public offer to Hillary, who will FAKE needing to think about it (seeing as how she FAKED planning for retirement.)

The only thing that would not be FAKED is the GENUINE belief that we are stupid enough to believe the performances.

All of the above is purely conjectural. I would love to be all or partly wrong.

Biden doesn’t know foreign policy either. I’ll bet with some good preparation, Ryan will cream Biden on foreign policy too.
