A Romney first: over 40% of youth vote back him
The Washington Examiner ^ | 08/15/12 | Paul Bedard

For the first time since he began running for president, Republican Mitt Romney has the support of over 40 percent of America's youth vote, a troubling sign for President Obama who built his 2008 victory with the overwhelming support of younger, idealistic voters.

Pollster John Zogby of JZ Analytics told Secrets Tuesday that Romney received 41 percent in his weekend poll of 1,117 likely voters, for the first time crossing the 40 percent mark. What's more, he said that Romney is the only Republican of those who competed in the primaries to score so high among 18-29 year olds.

is is the first time I am seeing Romney's numbers this high among 18-29 year olds," said Zogby. "This could be trouble for Obama who needs every young voter he can get."

Zogby helped Secrets dig deeper into his weekend poll, which we reported on earlier. The poll had Romney and Obama tied at 46 percent.

Young voters see what the rest of us see - their future freedom and prosperity being purposefully destroyed day-by-day by this Administration. They will vote accordingly.

What you said, or simply the fact that plenty of youth are also libertarian or simply sit election day out as a form of protest. Hopefully, however, some realize that a candidate with some vision is important, and hopefully, some realize that you shouldn’t sit this election out for the sake of COngressional Seats.

Romney has the support of over 40 percent of America's youth vote

Meaning that 60% of the hipsters, the emo-goths, the EBT babies, the trust-fund kiddies, and the pablum-brained educated-but-ignorant Leftist brats will still vote twice for the Kenyan.

That'll show their BFF's how hip and cool they are, dissing the 'rents that way.

My brother has five kids; he and his wife are Obama supporters. I always say its his kids who are going to be hurt the most by Obama’s policies. Young people need to understand that it is their future that is going down the drain if we let Obama and the Democrats do what they want.

Ah, who can forget the Obamajungen?

They’re old enough now to vote.
Twice.
Especially if they’re felons.
Which most likely, they are.

$0% of youth hope to have jobs sometime in their life. Unfortunately, 60% content sucking the government’s teat.

I’ve got to wonder how much of the 40% is mainly due to the Paul Ryan selection.

If these numbers hold up Obama will lose in a landslide.

That is why he is going to propose a massive Student Loan Forgiveness program within the next 60 days. This will be an irresistible draw to the youth vote.

This is going to be a close election.

Recent college graduates don’t care about “income inequality.” In fact, most believe in it as they want to become rich. Just like everyone else with any ambition at all.

The creepy, commie, Kenyan Obama played the role of the Communist Pied Piper in 2008.

He was very successful in that role, and won the minds of 60 % of the youthful voters, plus a Nobel Peace Prize from the White-Guilt Elite of the World.

Commie Obama got his Commie Communal Obama”care” approved by Traitor John Roberts, transferred all of the Student Loan Debt onto the not yet born backs of our Grandchildren’s descendants, as well an additional 1.5 TRILLION Dollars of National Debt, EACH YEAR.

The tune on Obama’s flute sheet music reads Jobs, Jobs, Jobs, but what America hears is debt, Debt, DEBT.

In 2012, will the youth of America read Obama’s sheet music, or will they hear that “deep sucking sound” of DEBT?

BTW, Maybe Romney or Ryan could come up with a youth-oriented Debt “Ap?”

Wrong interpretation. If Romney is over 40% with THIS group? Landslide. He’s crushing Zero in white males, marrieds, elderly (!). ZEro’s turnout numbers according to Dick Morris are well below the 08 levels among blacks and hispanics, and Zero has done much to alienate Catholics and Jews. He’s in deep, deep trouble.

LS, you’re quoting Toe-sucker? Seriously?

You’re also forgetting, Comrade Zero has a lock on:

the dead vote;
the illegal alien vote;
the negro vote;
the Snowbird vote;
the multiple-ballot college-activist vote;
the EBT vote;
the “it’s-okay-to-love-a-black-guy” white women vote;

And if that’s not enough, Zero also has:

UN advisors watching the votes;
Black Panthers guarding the votes; and
Soros-paid Spaniards counting the votes.

People, even the young, vote their pocketbooks. Forgiving student loans isn’t the same thing as having a good job to pay them off. A job does more than pay off a student loan, it also pays for iPads and X Box games.

They may be dumb brainwashed socialists in college, but they also see a bleak future under 0bama.

I think Paul Ryan is going to have a lot of appeal with the younger generation. This morning, Monica Crowley said he’s the 21st century and that’s a plus. Romney did well choosing someone who is young and the complete opposite of the moron Biden.

Okay, so Obama has now lost support among young people, old people, blacks, middle-class whites, women, and independents; yet, he is still leading by the same margins by which he won in 2008? These pollsters are a hoot.

On the bright side:

"Fifty-eight percent of U.S. registered voters aged 18 to 29 say they will "definitely vote" this fall, well below the current national average of 78% and far below 18- to 29-year-olds' voting intentions in the fall of 2004 and 2008."

BAD NEWS for Obama.
