Thought we needed this.
You may see a heavy dose of Ryan defending Conservatism and attacking 0bama!
If you accept that a VP must be part attack dog, who better than Ryan to explain our economic and jobs crisis, and debunk 0bama, than Ryan?
Ryan is smart, and can explain himself to a wide variety of people.
Add in the fact Ryan does not get angry, and uses a sincere smile to project optimism in the future
The wheelchairs and cliffs are already old!
They better come up w/ something new. Fortunately for us, they keep doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results.
There is a term for that......hmmmmm, it escapes my mind. /s
Exactly right. Folks here need to TRY to take a little more
of the longview. Our country did not find itself in these
dire straits overnight, and correcting it will not occur
in ONE election. I dont know what kind of president Romney
will make, but I know now that it may lead to Ryan presi-
dency, which i can feel more confident about.
I’ve struggled with this,as i know many of us have. I was
not going to vote for Romney this year, because of how frus-
trating it was having to vote for mclame.
But like 2008,a Romney vote can now be seen as a chance to
acquire a smart leader like Paul Ryan.
So, there is either try for my country, or not try.
I think i have to try.
“To all you Freepers who still threaten to stay home....remember, a no-show at the polls is a vote for Obama and his communists. And that’s how simple it is.”
I agree. Worth repeating.
Great Buck , and a great pick by Mitt.

Meh, leave the jaw on the floor, just for today! We deserve it!!! =)
“Already working I have had 2 Catholic friends on FB question whether he is a good Catholic because the Bishops denounced his budget plan and he supports the death penalty. This happened this morning.”
We know that Obama is out to destroy Christianity. No matter what Ryan is way better than Obama. The choice is clear cut.

I would love it. There has to be a spot for him somewhere.
I'm very happy with Ryan, and give Romney credit for a wise pick.
On this thread there have been criticisms of Romney for not being politically astute enough, and criticisms like yours that he’s totally political and is not truly a Republican or conservative. I’m not picking a fight with either side of those contentions, but I believe, in general, that all politicians are to be mistrusted. That said, by definition we are almost always faced with the choice between two ‘evils’. In this election, there is no question in my mind who the lesser of those evils is, and what needs to be done. Just my two cents.
So the concensus is....Ryan’s a hunk, huh?
This got me to looking as I am, ahem, lightly older than Ryan.
I’d not kick him out of bed.
He’s very smart, he’s CATHOLIC....a real swoon for me but that’s me being illogical that I get it out of my system.
Well yeah, he’s easy on the eyes with a bigger question, suppose your daughter brought him home?
We’re not voting for Ryan. I would embrace him in a NY second if he were at the top of the ticket. But he isn’t. Willard is. And as such, willard sets the priorities and policies.
I would ask them this question. What is the more important issue to your Catholic friends and their Bishops? The budget or a federal mandate that Catholic hospitals, doctors, and nurses commit infanticide? That might put the “Good Catholic” question into perspective.
Why, I thank you kindly sir!
Teams Obama hates the pick. What a shock. I would guess they were hoping for Portman (milquetoast) or Rubio (FL racial issues).
The best thing about this pick is that it shows Mitt is willing to be aggressive and take some risks. Romney knew no budget Barack will attack Ryan for his budget and he still picked him. With the Ryan selection Romney is basically saying to the dims: Game on!
Let's say there is a small town with only 100 registered voters and two candidates are running for mayor, including the incumbent who is a scoundrel. However, the challenger doesn't particularly excite anybody. So 40 of the voters, who detest the incumbent, don't even bother to vote because the challenger isn't the perfect candidate they were hoping for. As a result, the incumbent wins re-election by a vote of 40-30.
I believe the above paragraph utterly destroys your sophomoric argument.
