Via Mediaite, inquiring conservatives on Twitter are asking: Er, isn’t Ann Coulter herself famously a big fan of RomneyCare?
Answer: Yeah, but I’m not sure it’s Andrea Saul’s mention of RomneyCare that’s really bugging her. Mediaite’s transcript:

I think she’s irritated mainly because Saul is playing Obama’s game by treating the steelworker ad as legitimate. You don’t respond to a smear like that by addressing it on the merits; you respond by explaining why it’s a smear and how it reveals just what a fraud the Hopenchange aura is. It’s an opportunity to attack with righteous fury, and somehow Saul blew it by stepping on her own message with the health-care aside.
The way to respond to it also isn’t to pimp the progenitor of Obamacare. Now we know Mittens still loves himself some individual mandates.
The problem with the response is that it unnecessarily poops on conservatives AGAIN. As Rush said she ripped off the scab.
Why would we expect anything different. Romney’s never apologized for Romneycare. He’s defended it. Romney has tried to distinquish Romneycare from Obamacare on minute differences.
You (Coulter and Others) rooted for and nominated a liberal as the GOP nominee. Now you want his staff to respond with less liberal responses.
Why? To maintain the illusion of conservativeness until it can be Etch a Sketched after the election?
She got her wish now she has sour grapes. We all knew how he would handle these things, yet she was to blind to see...
Personally, I’m ABO and will be voting. That said, Ann gave him her support so now she cab eat his “weak responses.” Moderates always are weak with their responses. If we had a Conservative in this race, the response would carr strength and would be winning over millions of Americans.
Her “surprise” is just a reminder as to why I was so dissapponted in her and will not bother buying any more of her material.
