The Code calls ONLY for it to be lowered for the death of major heads of state.
I could understand 9/11, because that was a MAJOR atrocity.
However, it should not be used to dumb-down how the flag is handled.

Obama does not give a hoot about these mainly gentle Indian folks, our own military killed in Ft Hood, Gabby Giffords and the folks slaughtered in AZ last year, and... the innocents murdered in Aurora, CO, a few weeks ago. Three of the four of these killers are living at taxpayer expense, with conviction and punishment literally, years away. The fouth got popped to his maker by the long arm of the law.
Obama and Eric Holder are doing nothing but coddling these murderers!!! End of story. America wake up, your time as a free nation is running out with these despots and America haters in power. Sad!!!
