President Obama ordered the flags on all public buildings and military bases to be flown at half-staff in the wake of a shooting at a Sikh temple in Wisconsin.
"As a mark of respect for the victims of the senseless acts of violence perpetrated n August 5th, 2012 in Oak Creek, Wisconsin, by the authority vested in me as President of the United States by the Constitution and the laws of the United States, I hereby order that the flag of the United States shall be flown at half-staff," Obama wrote in a proclamation released Monday.

The flag is to be flown at half staff in mourning for designated, principal government leaders and upon presidential or gubernatorial order.
Ever notice that Obama wants the flags at “half-staff” only when the shooter is white. Chicago should have flags at Half-staff every day of the year and let’s not even get started on the pretense that black mobs haven’t been targeting whites nearly since Obama went into office. Nothing like having our own Dept of Justice declare that they refuse to pursue “black on white” crime to encourage a little lawlessness.
