Rep. Dennis Kucinich has introduced a bill that would require cell phones to warn consumers how much radiation is coming from their phones, saying that until science can disprove a link to cancer, the public should be told more information.
His bill, the Cell Phone Right to Know Act, would also demand a study of cell phones and health, looking at a broad array of signals that smart phones now send out, ranging from the phone to bluetooth to WiFi.
"Consumers have a right to know the radiation levels of cell phones and whether they are buying the phone with the lowest — or the highest — level of exposure to cell phone radiation," the Ohio Democrat said. "They also deserve to have up-to-date exposure standards that are put together by health professionals without conflicts of interest."

I don’t know, but if it’s ICSTFU radiation, he may have a point.
They already do this! If people actually READ the documentation that comes with their phone, they’d find a page on EM radiation and levels emitted by the phone in specific spectra. It also outlines the max. safe exposure level for each type and specifies if the phone is within that range (I’ve yet to see one that doesn’t).
99% of phone purchasers either never read that documentation or throw it away. That’s on them. This idiot wants to legislate something that people already know or can get if they just did some investigation.
I hear that attitude a lot from people your age and older.

There are less totalitarian ways to deal with cell phone emissions as
well as the top secret signals from the Large Magellanic Cloud glaxy.
What he really wanted was a warning label that cell phones attract aliens creating an abduction risk but he had trouble getting co-signers.
My thing has always been “put all the warnings on something you want”. That never bothers me as LONG as I am the one that gets to decide what to ultimately do with that warning.
