After hundreds of thousands of people ate dinner at his restaurants on Wednesday for Chick-fil-A Appreciation Day, one Georgia family, a same-sex couple and their two daughters, has invited Chick-fil-A CEO Dan Cathy to have dinner at their house.
But the dinner invitation from Marci Alt and wife Marlysa, who live near Chick-fil-A’s Atlanta headquarters, is no paltry piece of paper, it is backed by an online petition sponsored by Change.org, an online organizing platforms for activists, and GLAAD, a gay rights advocacy group.
“I hope Mr. Cathy will join my family for dinner, where we can share a respectful dialogue about our faith, work and families here in Georgia,” Alt said in a statement. “It’s important that Mr. Cathy meet the people his company is donating millions to stand against.”
“I’ll even make chicken,” Alt added.

These people can not even frame the argument correctly.
Mr Cathy is not standing against “them” he is standing FOR the centuries old, world recognized, God directed definition of a marriage. You and your “wife husband whatever” are the ones that are against something, the only marriage that exists........

Exactly what I was just thinking. If he goes, that would appear to be at least tacit endorsement of what he does not endorse. I’m with the others and would recommend that he politely decline.
I’d have no problem going to dinner with these women. Nor would I have a problem with having a respectful dialogue. The problem, of course, is that these women are looking for media coverage and will try their darndest to make the man look the fool.
Be who you are and stand tall. Let the fools make themselves to be fools.

I’m sure we will see many fine examples of LGBT “faith and family values” on Friday. When decent people accept this kind of perversion then Satan has an even worse affront waiting in the wings. The Word is now doing it’s fearful work. You can’t turn a blind eye or equivocate.
Where, exactly, will you be able to go out to eat with your family if you don’t want them exposed to perversion? Where will you be able to do anything without having your beliefs and sensibilities insulted? You wouldn’t take your family to an x-rated movie, a snuff film or a gay bar. What will you do when the whole public venue is an affront to decency?
At that time, and it doesn’t seem to be far off, it will indeed be imperative to “ come out from among them an be separate.” That always seems to be when the killing of Christians begins; whether it be in a social, financial or literal sense. Seems to me it’s already begun.
