Today, gay rights supporters from across the nation are contemplating whether the crowd they draw to Chick-fil-A restaurants for their planned kiss in this Friday will be anything like that drawn for the Chick-fil-A Appreciation Day yesterday.
Yet based upon some recent comments made by those who claim zero religious affiliation, no past Chick-fil-A patronage, and absolutely no animosity towards the gay community, it doesnt look good for them.
The planned gay protest, orchestrated after the Chick-fil-A companys President Dan Cathy affirmed his support for traditional marriage, seeks to undermine the restaurant chains freedom of religious liberty in the marketplace.
Homosexual activists hope that by visiting the...restaurants across the countryand kissing their partners in front of... patrons...that it will somehow motivate the general public to rally for marriage equality on their behalf.
Instead, it is likely to do just the opposite, as proven by comments in todays LA Times article titled Gay-rights group plans kissing protest at Chick-fil-A.
...
[A] guest during the chicken chain's appreciation day thinks Dan Cathy is getting a bad rap for his support of traditional marriage...
That's definitely not the results hoped for by GLADD when they sought to bring negative attention to the Chick-fil-A franchise president's comments supporting biblical views...
Gay groups opposing Chick-fil-As stand...had hoped to rally more support for marriage equality... Instead...they drew greater support for men like Cathy who feel they should be able to express their own beliefs in the marketplace too.
The GLADD National Same Sex Kiss Day at Chick-fil-A protest scheduled for this Friday, therefore, may not have the desired outcome being sought. And, in fact, the gay rights group may find that the country isn't ready to rally for marriage equality when it is clothed in bully tactics directed at others exercising their freedom of speech too.

I think the majority of homosexuals feel very guilty deep down about their behavior and need to force others to say what they do is good and normal and healthy even though they know it is not. Homosexuals have shorter life spans and higher suicide rates than heterosexuals. I imagine a lot of them freaked out yesterday seeing how much support CFA had around the nation.
I was told by another poster that they already have this policy in effect. Maybe we should so up with our spouses so we can get kicked out with the gays. Then they can’t claim discrimination.
You’re right. A blowtorch & pliers, in a locked room, would be a lot more fun. Long past time for the kid gloves to come off.
“Weve been traditionally married for nearly 32 years and enjoy kissing very much. Thought wed bring some balance to the event. ;-)”
___________-
Take a look at the environment before you do. I was thinking that local managers might wish to put up signs asking ALL customers to refrain from public demonstrations of affection in order to nip this in the bud. If they ask ALL to refrain, they can’t be called discriminating when they eject gay trouble makers. If there is no such sign, however, I think you idea is great and will likely be greeted with cheers.
If a customer so much as flips a balled up napkin at one of these groping pervs, that customer is going to get tased, cuffed and hauled off for committing a “hate crime”.
I plan on telling jokes in the next booth so that they cannot stop laughing, thus preventing them from kissing.
Or, perhaps start talking to my companion about things that make same-sex people angry, just to see if the same-sex people take the bait , fly off the handle and storm out of the building.
>>>We plan to go on Friday, too, and join the kiss-in. Weve been traditionally married for nearly 32 years and enjoy kissing very much. Thought wed bring some balance to the event. ;-)<<<
BRILLIANT!
Please make this thought go viral before Friday. Urge everyone to go to the CFA and start kissing alongside the gay couples. This is the perfect response - funny, in their faces, and mocking them.
I’d also buy the gay kissing couples some lunch just to show how much they’re appreciated.
Post photos of this, please? You are a genius.
Agreed.
***Lets just call them what they are: perverts.***
Typical of sodomites. They see public exhibitionism as protest. “SEE ME! SEE ME!”
They did. I have a friend who is gay (cause you know, I’m such a ‘hater’) and yesterday he posted a reply on FB to a post that said, “We were never accepted but today we felt targeted”. Right. Give me a break.
Won’t fly with me. Yet.
Polonioum-210 salad dressing? Wiffle Ball bat in a locked room? Squirt guns at 10 paces? Soap the windows? Water balloons from a 3-story building? Bolts & nuts inside of hubcaps? TP the trees? Pigtail pulling? Anything pique your interest, yet? LOL.
Hey, Chick-Fil-A®: Have some fun with those lowlifes. Put some EXTRA-SERIOUS Ex-Lax® Sauce on their food! Invite the media dirtbags to film it.
I disagreed. I actually think that's juvenile and drops you down to the lib's level.
Some history and historical pictures at the source link of this FR thread.
As long as they are held to the same standards set for pro-life protesters, everything is great.
We have never yet eaten there, but think tomorrow we should try. We probably won’t kiss, but will certainly hold hands! 43 years and counting!
This will backfire and make people realize that it’s a mafia tactic. Dan C never said that his restaurants wouldn’t serve or hire gays. He is being persecuted for stating his beliefs — he has not said he hate homersexuals. This is an attack on his right to have his own beliefs that do not hurt other people.
photograph and ID the homosexuals who participate.
Put their pictures up on a site akin to a “john’s site” where they can be publicly outed.
This way if any are working in any capacity for the media, they can be exposed as a reason for the pro-homo-bias.
I’m pretty sure there will be a lot of aggressive (which is not to say violent) picture-taking on both sides. Today’s protesters will post their pictures of the “homophobes” and try to ruin their lives. (YOUR example, on the other hand, is just about policing the media for bias.)
“He is being persecuted for stating his beliefs he has not said he hate homersexuals.”
The homos are projecting. I take their reaction to mean that businesses that contribute to homosexual causes, and not to normosexual and/or Christian charities, are guilty of hateful acts towards normosexuals and/or Christians.
I don’t know what those businesses would be, but probably Ben&Jerry and Starbucks are among them.
