At the CFA in Frederick, I sat in the drive-thru for an hour last night waiting to pick up a milk shake. The crowd in the parking lot was joyous and positive.

The milk shake was great, and the wait time was well-spent. I listened to Mark Levin on the radio :)

...the rather Liberal state of Maryland.

^^^
We have that reputation, sadly, because of the make-up of our state legislature, but the majority of our citizens lean conservative in many ways, I suspect, but, unfortunately, we have heavily populated pockets of Rat voters who get to pick for the rest of us.

For example, our horrendous governor supports redefining marriage and homo “marriage” has been declared legal without any real input from the electorate. But some dedicated volunteers sought signatures so that a referendum could be used to defeat this absurd decree in the 2012 election. I am happy to report that their efforts turned in more than twice the number needed. Sorry, I don’t have the figures, but I know that the response was phenomenal.

There are some in the state GOP who hold out hope that blue Maryland will be turned red in the near future.

We live in Kent County, but we chose to drive 45 minutes one way to Kent Island in Queen Anne's County just to show our support at the CFA there. Lots of smiling customers. The workers were pleasant and efficient and seemed well up to the task of handling a line that went out the door. The tables inside were not filled, but it seemed as though the vast majority were picking up their orders as carry-out. The line for the drive-through was huge, but it seemed to be moving very well. We were there between 3:30-4 because we wanted to avoid the after-work crush. I can just imagine what it was like after 5.

Hi back! What a great idea to order things from the Chick-Fil-A website in support! I will also check out the website and see if there are some cute items I might stick in some of our family birthdays we have coming up.:) We have no children of our own, but lots of nieces and nephews with birthdays coming soon.

I have heard from several friends here in FL about other Chick-Fil-A’s being packed with long lines, even at 9:30 at night! Just shows most Americans view the Holder and others trashing of an American business will backfire!!!

Hope folks spread this link to other FR friends so we hear about on the street reports from more states across the country. This video I received this morning from a friend in New Jersey is just to funny to miss!

Poor little one, I bet she was really beat!

Just love hearing Chick-Fil-A reports from across our beautiful Nation!

From what I hear there will be somewhat of a not so happy protests at some Chick-Fil-A busnisses this coming Friday, tomorrow. Hoping if anyone sees one at their local Chick-Fel-A, that they get some video! The videos could then be sent to Holder and ask him why he wasn’t there with his friends!! :)

It’s a few cosmopolitan counties that apparently hog the political spotlight in MD and bias it Democrat. Some of them you would think would lean GOP especially in the more affluent “high tech corridor” of I270 but no.... Having come by car into MD last weekend to begin a new job, I’ve seen there are a lot of hillbillies in MD who however don’t seem to have a lot of voice. Even yet MD seems pretty mellow compared with Ill Noise. Maybe they should think about giving Baltimore and Montgomery County to Washington, DC. Did you know that Montgomery County is considered in “the greater Baltimore area”? I didn’t, until I read it on a McDonald’s coupon.

We were going to go to Johns Hopkins Rd CFA (Columbia area) that day anyway, because it’s across from my husband’s work which had Family Day.

When I passed it mid-afternoon there was a good crowd, although I don’t know if that’s normal at 3. When we tried to go just after 5, it was very crowded, parking lot and inside. My husband didn’t want to brave it (we have a 4yo who had no nap, to boot), so we left. He seemed to think it was a bit more chaotic than it normally would be. Of course, we also think part of it is his Family Day. The only off-setting thing is that it’s a Wednesday and not on the weekend. So I’m 50-50 that it was more crowded because of Appreciation Day. (We definitely did not have people standing outside, but the cars were worse than normal.)

My husband said when we were leaving CFA later (we had 2 cars and had left 1 there) that someone was standing on his car with some sign across the street from CFA. Wish I had noticed. You know it had to be a homo-commie-supporter.

I wish I’d stopped by the 1 close to us to check - forgot (can’t see from highway). Executive Pk Dr, Ellicott City.

The thing is, at mealtimes CFA is ALWAYS crowded, maybe a bit less on weekdays.

I plan on stopping by several of our CFAs tomorrow to see how it is, including the Dobbin already mentioned in the thread!

Great to hear! That’s 1 I wasn’t near yesterday - I hope to stop by tomorrow to see how it does at least before the homos invade (officially).

“you know the liberals and the GOP-E gotta be shaking in their boots”

You’re right about the GOP-E. They are very much in bed with the liberals. This is an element that needs to be weeded out of the Party — starting with Boehner.

“First time I ever went into a Chick-fil-A”

We have some conservative friends in Virginia who are more accustomed to fine dining than fast food, but in this case made an exception to visit their local CFA as an expression of solidarity. Much to our surprise they actually enjoyed their meal and plan to stop there again. I never thought I would see the day. LOL.

“We need to pay attention to how the government (and liberal left) blackmails us into doing their will.”

Liberals and government (but I repeat myself) specialize in trying to make people feel guilty. If you don’t agree with them they conjure up all kinds of bizarre horrors that you’re responsible for. I think people are finally getting tired of the heavy handed guilt game.

I went into the Lexington Park location (near my house) and was so inspired to see the crowd! I teared up a bit...then took my meal home and came back the next day for dinner as well!

Went there again today and the crowd was still there.

This has to be the best thing to happen to CFA. It gives me great hope that we can vote out the same sex marriage in Marylands referendum in November.
